On a light note
I've just started my Vitamin B super complex supplements in the hope that optimum vitamin and folate levels improve my thyroid issues. Why do supplements have to smell and taste so vile. I'm gagging at the smell as soon as the lids off, swallow the tablet and gag on that repeat taste. Boy oh boy these

Vitamins?
Hi fountains of much acquired wisdom, My RA is fairly stable at the moment and I am only on 10mg Methotrexate Weekly. A podiatrist recently commented on my very thin toe nails and recommended Vitamin B. I looked into it and others say Vitamin C. I take a Vitamin D every day and mega fish oil pills

B complex and folic acid
Hello! Me again..! I have a question about vitamin B supplements and iron... I can't find one that contains all the B vits but doesn't contain folate or folic acid... Does that matter? I get confused on the types of iron. Do folate and folic acid 'count' as iron? 🤔 I'm so confused. 😂

Why do I need to also supplement with a folate or a Complex B vitamin when supplementing with B12?
Hi, Spent a few hours last night trying to find scientific papers/writing on the need to supplement with folate when one supplements with B12. No luck. I'm sure I haven't searched for the right terms... could anyone help me? I don't understand the concept of balancing out the B vitamins. I supplement

Gastric atrophy ??
Now as I’m still new and trying to learn please may you add to my knowledge and correct anything I have misunderstood. I had a positive coeliac blood test, I’m not doing the gluten challenge and biopsy because this has gone on for over 20 years and I’ve put up. So now I have started ferrous fumarate

Sweet's syndrome during induction chemotherapy for acute myeloid leukemia – case report and mini review.
In 15-20% of cases, Sweet's syndrome (SS) develops secondary to cancer, the blood cancer, acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), being the commonest. Out of the total number of malignancy-associated cases, 85% have blood cancer. This is a case of a 47-year-old woman who developed skin lesions that appeared

Safe to supplement on b vitamins while treating b12 deficiency?
Would it be advised to supplement on additional b vitamins (ex. Thorne Research- basic b-complex) to support b12 supplementation for neural repair? I realize it can be a fine line, especially with folate and b6. However wondering if anyone has knowledge as to whether it may be a good idea. Thx!

Conversion improved massively - adding more T4 and removing some T3
Hi everyone, I have recently seen a tremendous improvement in conversion - when I first started on levo I had a levo at top of range on 75mcg and a t3 just in range and I was struggling to eat and very underweight. The last few months I have been supplementing b12, vit d, having some b vitamins every

Living with AF?
Hello all! This seems like a great forum! All new to me and at 57 am recovering from a cerebellum stroke and waiting to see cardiologist at end of September. I just wonder how everyone ‘lives’ with prescribed AF? Do you exercise or relax? Do you monitor heartbeat and respond accordingly? A little unclear
