Smell sensitivity and what to do about it?
I was trying to find something more about strong reactions to smells among various posts but with limited success. A month ago following a cleaners' visit I had a very strong reaction to the smell of detergents they were using and ever since have been oversensitive to any chemical smells. Anything

Asthma cough, advice needed please
I had mild breathing problems starting a couple of years ago and after the usual palaver the consultant decided that fortunately I was not actually asthmatic but borderline. The symptoms of breathlessness have been controlled with antihistamines and nasal sprays as the problems were partly down to allergies

Good afternoon. I am 65 and was diagnosed with a CLL-like condition some 3 years ago. No treatment as yet so fingers crossed but I am learning a lot of very useful stuff so thanks. What I have found in recent months is that if I get a mosquito bite or something similar I get a really big reaction. Some

I'm new here and suffering.
Hey my name is Lisa and I'm from Birmingham. I got diagnosed with asthma about 9 years ago, as I was constantly having chest infection and finding it difficult to breathe at times. I have had my asthma kind of controlled with the initial flair ups at times. Basically I quit smoking last year, and

What constitutes an attack?
Hi, background: still learning to live with this, asthma hit last year, probably heightened hormonal sensitivity to allergens with perimenopause/ menopause. But I also get exercise induced asthma so take a couple of puffs in advance. Been coughing a lot all summer, completely stuffed nose etc, but

Reaction to contrast dye in CT Scan?
Has anyone had a reaction to the contrast dye used when having a CT scan? I had a scan on Thursday the first I'd had since being diagnosed with Lymphoedema and wearing knee high compression tights. Staff were aware of my condition and the only advice given was to drink fluids before hand and stop
