Swelling back after knee aspiration
Hi everyone,I have had a diagnosis of inflammatory arthritis for about 10 years now (although the symptoms had been there many years longer like so many of us). I am on a weekly Metoject 20mg and 6x 500g Sulfasalazine daily. It tends to be my knees that are particularly affected and over the last 10

She was not around, and I was able to make my excuses and leave without coming

Covid and IVF
Hi all, It's my first time posting here. So I am on my first IVF with ICSI cycle, and have just started the stimulation injections. If everything goes well, I should have egg collection on the 23rd Oct. However, I received a call yesterday from my physiotherapist (currently doing some treatment

Can the 3tesla mr device cause a permanent feeling of warmth in my body?
I had 3tesla mr in a private hospital in turkey (penile mr), they said the process would take 20-25 minutes, but I stayed inside for almost 40 minutes. I was later told that I stayed 28 minutes. I noticed some abnormalities 1 week after the MRI, my body was overheating and I seemed to be radiating heat

Battling Outbreaks
Hi everyone, I suffer from outbreaks every once in awhile especially if I get sick. I only take valtrex as needed for the 3 days to suppress . Am currently in an asthma flare and already dealing with an outbreak and I need to take prednisone which usually gives me an outbreak. Not sure weather I should

paxlovid and abiraterone
there may already be posts like this, and If there are I’m sorry, I couldn’t find them! my dad is covid positive (first time!). I read on here in the past some of you said that you can’t take paxlovid with abiraterone? He is on that, flomax and lupron. I know it’s better to take paxlovid before it

Persistent infections
Hi all It’s been a few years since I posted my one and only post but I’ve been following, if not commenting, on and off over those years and, as always, appreciate all the information I pick up. I have a general query now as my condition has changed quite a bit since Covid and the lockdowns etc. Prior

When the drugs don’t work
Where to begin… my poor Mum had her first hip replacement in 2007, but it broke and she had a revision in 2008. Unfortunately she was in more pain than ever, and they were about to write the pain off as psychological but thankfully she got referred to an Orthopaedic Specialist hospital who discovered
