covid again

Started coughing on Thursday night. By Friday I felt awful. Did a test on Saturday positive. Rang number on test box for govt tests that were sent to me.

Doctor rang from Covid central hub. Nurse rang with questions. Doctor rang about existing meds. Pharmacy rang from hospital to say paxlovid antiviral tablets would be arriving by taxi in an hour. Taxi came. Doctor rang and sang happy birthday and said it was better to have tablets from them than socks!

Cannot fault the super help that I have received.

Three lots of tablets in starting to cough less Doctor said they work 8/10 times. Hope I am one of the eight..

It is still out there folks! Be careful x

Thank you! I think I picked it up at the hospital on my RA consultation it’s the only time I have been out! What an exciting life😷

They were really quick within six hours I had two doctors call two nurses call and the hospital pharmacy to ask about ra meds. Covid tablets came via taxi. 😷

Thank you very much. I have lost smell and taste at the moment did not have that last time. Other half happy he said it will improve his cooking!😷Everthing is delicious 😋

Thank you! We had arranged to meet up in Milton Keynes with family it is half way for everyone! Have not seen anyone since Christmas so was looking forward to seeing them. But best made plans they say! Tablets seem to have eased the cough and shivery bits so that is good. High temperature this time little blimey thing went red 😷

Thank you! They were called Covid Hub! So it must be rife here in the south east! Two doctors two nurses and pharmacists rang within an hour of me texting I was positive and tablets came by taxi. They even sang happy birthday 🥳

Thank you! Yesterday I was looking at Colin the caterpillar cake that I could not smell or taste just like cardboard but I know that is not true. Tablets are horrible and leave a metallic taste in the back of my throat- which I can taste! But seem to be working temperature down and not coughing every minute. 😷

Hope you get over it fast. 2 people in my family had it last week. One from a swimming baths another from a keep fit class (bit ironic 😏). Luckily I'd not been near them. 🌹

Yes I've heard a few folks saying that. I was surprised when I went last week and notices said masks were up to personal choice now in the hospital.

When I text that I was positive I was contacted by the Covid Hub at mid essex. So it must still be active down here. Could not fault the care I received 😷🤧🤒
