Steroid injection into Kiloid Scars
I have a dermatology appointment on Saturday (yes an NHS appointment on a Saturday) to review treatment of kiloid scars. I think one of the options suggested may be direct steroid injections into the scars themselves. I have had PMR for 9 years and have at last got stable on 7 mg prednisolone daily

COVID And A/Fib
My husband was in hospital and I was visiting every day. During his stay he managed to contract Covid which I also picked up. I do not seem to be able to throw it off. Does A/Fib make Covid worse? Less easy to shake off? Give one more muscle ache? Longer headache? Affect the BP to a greater extent

No reaction
Had my pneumonia and shingles jabs last Tuesday and so far no reaction, only a sore arm for a day. Covid and flu jabs in a couple of weeks time, hope for the same outcome.

Abs Lymphs going up after shingles
We saw the doctor for the first time after having shingles. Before shingles his Abs. Lymphs were 2.3 1000/mm3. Now 5 months later it is 3.5 1000/mm3. The Dr. was concerned. We were surprised that he started talking ( not now) about starting treatment. He stated that studies have shown it is better

COVID and Besremi
Dear all,I have just got a COVID infection from a trip in US (symptoms showed last Friday). I started getting better (no more fever), so I hope that in few days will clear out. I am scheduled for my next Besremi dose this Friday. Does anyone has experience on how far apart should be Besremi administered

Back Again
Hello everyone, sorry in advance for the mammoth post. I was last on this forum about 7-8 years ago in 2015/2016 after my previous symptom free asthma flared up badly and left me very sick (back on inhalers, steroids, and multiple hospital admissions). We managed to get my asthma back under control

Hi All, I don't know if some will remember me but I was on the group about 6 years ago and lost in total 8 stone in weight once I got maintanence under control. I lost weight following a scary asthma experience and with encouragement from a very supportive and imformative clinician who unfortunately

Whooping cough
Hello. I have been struggling to recover from whooping cough which I've had since May. I am still bringing up phlegm. Sorry to be disgusting. My throat also feels like there is broken glass at the back of it. Has anyone else had problems this long after first symptoms?

Like many others I guess I am in a quandary about having my Spring booster. I started taking 20mg prednisolone in November 2022, reduced to 15mg after one week, then gradually down to 10mg where I stayed for most of a year. I am now on 8.5mg. Am I immuno-suppressed on this dose? My immune system is
