This was what I experienced after my first 2 Eligard 3 months shots beginning in May 2023. Now since ca. 4 months I have more energy than ever, don't get tired at all and sleep very well and wake up full of energy. The only symptom I have are some heat rushes from time to time, but nothing which I can't handle. Wonder where this energy is coming from. My PSA is now 0.07, down from 45. Taking also Apalutamide, but only half dosis, due to a skin allergy reaction I had.

My Urologist wanted to prescribe Erleada (apalutamide). I have a seizure history and wanted to avoid Erleada because like other ARSIs, it crosses the blood-brain barrier. So he proposed a half-dose of Erleada, which I then read was used if a skin reaction occurred. I wondered if a half-dose was still as effective. So I chose Zytiga (abiraterone).

Kept moving when I heard I was getting Eligard, and didn’t stop when o was prescribed Erleada… walk 14,000 steps a day and throw the weights around for 20 minutes a day… use it or lose it. You can’t stop moving.

I received a 6 month eligard shot when I was age 66. It hit me hard the first couple of days but afterwards my major complaints were hot/cold flashes and gynecomastia. I continued going to the gym three times a week and didn't notice any loss of strength or bothersome fatigue.
