Flirt Covid

Hello everybody, my recent Covid trip started on the 24th of July with four days of sore throat, which because of the heat wave I blamed on the ice in my drinks, by 29th (officially diagnosed) I felt nausea, no smell, no taste, horrible headache, cough, sinusitis, tired plus sore throat still here. I get it, it is easy for some people, it does not seem easy for me, I keep taking double the Symbicort dose plus Ventolyn plus ibuprofen, paracetamol, vit C and vit D, liquids, total rest since 28th, hospital did not consider me in need of Paxlovid. Every day is almost the same, some just worse than others. I have five doses of vaccine, I thought it will be a trip in the park when I take it. It is not.

Anything, any remedy that worked for any of you, with this strain of Covid? I actually find the sinusitis the worst I ever had. Thanx!

I struggled to get rid. I was 13 days positive. I was cleaning everything. My hands were sore with all of the handwashing. The only thing I forgot to clean were my inhalers, so I cleaned them before and after use. I tested negative a couple of days later, but that could be coincidence (Everyone lease was negative in 5 days) Ihad antibiotics and prednisone early on in the infection as I developed a chest infection and then another course of prednisone when I was negative as my peak flow was rubbish.

Thank you for the reply Troilus, I started today antibiotics, the chest is still filled with fluid. My peak flow is usually max 350, I was wondering what do you mean by it being rubbish? How under were you?

I must say I am looking forward for some AI machine that can help us asthmatics to asses our stages better. I mean my phone is from 2024, but my my Peak flow is a plastic toy with plastic buttons...I think this can certainly be improved

Such devices already exist but I doubt that the NHS will be handing them out anytime soon.
