Berberine / Curcurmin essential oils?
I’ve been reading about use of Berberine, curcurmin, clove and cinnamon oils for SIBO/ SIFO symptoms. (In Dr William Davies book supergut) I’m pretty much there with resolving my GI issues so reticent to mess around, but you know how it goes, I’m also curious as to whether it could be even better.

Do I need to bump up my Armout Thyroid meds?
Hi, I have central hypothyroidism. I am currently taking 75 mgs of Armour Thyroid daily. I am once again experiencing symptoms of low thyroid: Fatigue, feeling cold, not losing weight anymore (I am on noom diet and have been successful but progress has stopped.) I didn't take biotin for a few days

Having pectus carinatum and PC would radiotherapy or chemotherapy affect the strength of the rib cage structure?
I have PC but also epilepsy which I have had for over fifty years, over 400 + seizures thus weakened my rib cage structure [affected by pectus carinatum/pigeon chest] over the years thus likely to refracture. I have had radiotherapy but would that or chemotherapy affect the bone strength of my rib cage

can’t eat
I’m on Kisqali and exemestane and can’t taste most food. Everything else either tastes like chemicals or something equally awful. The bottom line, I’m not eating. Once I get the wrong reaction, I start to be repulsed by the idea of anything going into my mouth. Any suggestions?

Starting Xeloda soon
I am a rare case for Johns Hopkins. Dx de novo ER/Pr +, Her2 - almost 8 years ago. Two very tiny liver mets only. Did extremely well and achieved NED status on Ibrance and AI for 6.5 years when we noticed the primary site of cancer in the breast was growing. Switched to Faslodex and Fulvestrant.

Subtype Switch
Has anyone experienced a switch in their subtype? I went from ER+PR+HER2- to TNBC/HER2Low. Curious as to others experience with this and treatment. Currently on Enhertu which I started actually a month before confirming unfortunate mutation to TNBC. We already realized I was HER2Low and wanted to

New to this
Hi All, I'm so new to this that I'm still in the diagnosis phase. Went in for regular blood work today and came back with lymphocytes at 7.7K, low monos, which triggered a slid, which shows atypical lymphocytes. Language below: Lymphocytosis with atypical lymphocytes and smudge cells. Clinical

2nd line treatment
Hello there, I was diagnosed with stage 4 High grade serous primary peritoneal cancer in January 2022 with spread to supraclavicular lymph node. I’m hoping for some reassurance/advice. After a total of 8 cycles of Carboplatin and Paclotaxil with Avastin added in part way through and attempted but

Ca 27.29 test
My Ca 27.29 went from 45 to 67 and that makes me nervous. I have been stable for 36 months and now I’m worried about progression. I’m on Ibrance and Letrozole and have done very well on the treatment. Has anyone had issues with their Ca 27.29 giving a false result?

better options
Have lost faith and patience with husband's current docs, they are now contradicting each other.I have enough airline points we can fly for free anywhere in us so I'm looking what would be best hospital /treatment center that has multiple treatment protocols where we can learn about treatments like Proton

Starting Keytruda
I, I will be starting Keytruda on Friday. Looked at all the negative affects, but having a little choice on what to do. Hopefully it’ll affect the cancer in my liver. It’s prostate cancer. It looks like about a 30% chance of prolonging my life. I have cancer of the bones and lymph glands. Any discussion

Resuts of Ultrasound
There is a mass on my left ovary and a sot on my liver. Next step is an MRI. I am cursed. And I thought having an MPN was bad. Don't know what the future holds.

NEXT STEPS...
My husband is almost 8 years out from RP with Stage 3A, Gleason 4+3 (small amount tertiary 5). No follow up treatments so far. PSA returned at .027 after 43 months undetectable. Has been slowly rising and officially BCR at 6 years post surgery. Had PSMA scan in January which showed one pelvic wall

Caris profiling
Hi I just found out that my doctor ordered a Caris technologies molecular profile of my liver biopsy. In reading about it, it is supposed to analyze the tumor to find treatments most and least likely to work based on a range of molecular details and mutations has anyone else done this? Thoughts

Rant! Rant! Rant!
It’s hard to talk about cancer because there are so many things people do differently in treatment, so many choices we make. I don’t get offended much but someone said something today that kind of hit me the wrong way. I never understood why stage iv cancer patients were offended by those who didn’t
