There is a mass on my left ovary and a sot on my liver. Next step is an MRI. I am cursed. And I thought having an MPN was bad. Don't know what the future holds.

You do of course need to follow up. Suggest trying not to worry until there is something to worry about. I have various lesions on organs and other places. Here is a partial list.

Nodule on lung - benign

Lesion on liver - benign - likely hemangioma

Lesion on Spleen - benign - likely hemangioma

Cyst in kidney - benign

7 Lipomas removed - all benign

I have learned it is best to avoid catastrophic thinking when scans detect an anomaly. Stay on tp of it and you will find out what it is in due time. Once you know, then you can deal with whatever it is. hopefully, nothing but a tempest in a teapot.

Hunter is so right.

I see you are new here since December. To have an MPN is not the end of the world. It is well manageable. I’m 58 and have MPN since 13 years. My diagnosis was just 5 yrs ago after my third TIA!

The diagnosis threw me into a whirl of fear, depression, nervousness, until I educated myself, found solutions to clean and strengthen my body through an antiinflammatory diet, going organic, etc. After a few months, I was master of my illness (ET) and my body. I’m healthier now than at 42 and can enjoy my life even more than back then. No matter what comes, I’m ready to ride the wave.

Being here in this forum is a place of safety, support, kindness and true help. I don’t know many people who have that. You are therefore, blessed. Breath deeply, do something good for yourself today: breath deeply taking beauty and love into your senses. Let go of anything negative. Enjoy your day.

i agree with Hunter try not to worry until you have the full picture

I too have recently been found to have something show on liver and have cysts in various organs.
