Has anyone experienced a switch in their subtype? I went from ER+PR+HER2- to TNBC/HER2Low. Curious as to others experience with this and treatment. Currently on Enhertu which I started actually a month before confirming unfortunate mutation to TNBC. We already realized I was HER2Low and wanted to take advantage of Enhertu. Currently on Enhertu for 7 months now and it was like a miracle the way it stopped the pain and growth, decreased the tumors. However, I am now seeing signs of the cancer returning/progression. Trying not to be devastated.

I’m sorry I don’t have any advice but I can relate to you’re feeling upset about changes indicating the cancer is progressing again.
Last Oct I learnt my bones Mets had spread to liver so I had to switch drugs again. I decided to go on a trial this time around. That started for me mid December but the treatment (x3 drugs) builds slowly by only adding the 3rd drug after the first month was completed.
So now 2 months on the full combo but scans (and TM) last week seemed to show slight more growth of lesions in the liver. Ugh!! I was really hoping this combo would work for me. I’m not ready to switch again already. They’re letting me stay in for now with more attention to symptoms but I suddenly feel like now my “stable” bone Mets are talking to me again this week!
After 19 years with E + MBC, it's morphed into triple negative. Initially it was also P+ but that switched to negative quite a few years ago. I'm on my first actual chemo, Xeloda, and having a terrible time with red, sore hands. 6 fingers have split skin and using any ofo my fingers hurts. Worst I''ve felt since diagnosis in 2004!
