Suspected Cushings or just hypo
Hey everyone, My endo is sending me for an MRI of pituitary and CT of chest, pelvis, abdomen and adrenals. My salivary cortisol seems to go up a lot after adding t3, my blood cortisol is over range and I'm having issues raising thyroid meds, keeping me in a hypo state. Apparently I could have a tumour

Cortisol questions
As I've just done my cortisol tests I've been pondering things. 1) How quickly do cortisol levels change? I know they change throughout the day but do they change week to week? Could my cortisol, for example, come back ok this week but if I do it next week the results would be dreadful? 2) if my results

Newly diagnosed and confused?
Hii! New here and I've recently been diagnosed with endo after months of irregular periods and cramps. However, now that I have this diagnosis, I don't feel "ill enough". Like I can't say I have this condition because there people out there who suffer worse with it. My endo is most likely stage 1 or

Periods after surgery
Hi ladies, I had surgery in September to remove chocolate cysts and endo tissue but for various reasons they didn’t remove all the endo. Before my surgery, my periods were regular – every for weeks. But afterwards the surgeon wanted to stop them to help with the endo and try to prevent future cysts

irregular bleeding post laparoscopy
Hi everyone. Just wondering what everyone’s periods/bleeding after op was like? I’m just over 6 weeks post op after endo removal on both ovaries & left pod. Surgeon said it was stage 2 endo. Everything else was fine. Tubes good, etc. I have had irregular bleeding for the last 2 weeks & awful cramps.

Cramps after but not during period
I have just had a period, the first day I had few mild cramps and the second day I had a lot of body aches in the morning but then I was fine. I’ve had a lot of headaches, feeling lightheaded and low energy, with nausea. Usually my periods are usually causing me horrific pain throughout but this one

Has anyone found antidepressants help with the pain?
Hi all, I'm new here. I have had painful periods since they began when I was 11. I think my endometriosis was masked for years when I went on the contraceptive pill at 17. I wasn't diagnosed at this point as I thought my experiences were normal. I came off the pill and we tried to conceive for 7 years

Hi all. I had a laparoscopy for endometriosis removal 5 weeks ago. I had endometriosis removed from both ovaries successful. I’m on the mini pill & have been since December so I don’t have periods usually. I’m experiencing some vaginal bleeding, like a light period & pelvic/middle tummy pain & aches

Combined pill, mini pill or alternatives?
Hey so I'm almost 40, I have had three previous laps to excise stage 4 endometriosis from my bladder, uterus and bowel. Been through 2 failed IVFs then had our little girl on the 3rd round via c-section. Now recovering about 10 weeks. Discussed endometriosis returning with GP and they have put me on

Am I right to suspect endometriosis and ask to see a private specialist?
I’m worrying I was wrong, asking to see an endometriosis specialist. What if I’m being dramatic or I’m just really sensitive to completely normal period pain. I have to take naproxen on the first day of my period cause when I used to not take it, my pain would get severe and I kept vomiting or feeling

nausea after eating
I’m still waiting for scan results due to very heavy periods/large clots/extreme pelvic pain/ bleeding between periods/pain during sex plus I’m anemic due to blood loss. I’m 20 yrs old. Ever since my first bout of pain (before Xmas) I’ve just lost my appetite and feel sick after I’ve eaten. I’ve spoken

Journey of pain, cyst and Endometriosis
My story is rather a sad one. All my life, I've been experiencing one tummy issue to the other. In adolescence, i do have painful period but thats it. Though i sometimes do have some dull pain at the pelvic region when i sit on a floor for some time. Fast forward to adulthood exactly in 2020, i had
