Vitamin B and stents
Good morning all, I had a heart attack last year and had two stents fitted, I'm pleased to say I'm completely over it and until a couple of months ago life was brilliant. Updates and more stuff
Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well these days. It's surely pollen season lol but the flowers are beautiful. I find myself being drawn to the plant section in Home Depot as we frequently visit there due to house projects. Well I coaxed my husband to let us get another dog, he is absolutely adorable

I posted a month ago about exercise, things have improved.
I'm pretty much at 6 months into my recovery now and most of the tiredness from pneumonia has lifted. I can over exert, but we are talking 60 minutes plus of exercise to make me feel it the following day. As I got back to full time work, I decided to slightly reduce the amount of walking distance I

Help Ulster University research access to rehab services
If you have PSP or CBD and are living in Northern Ireland could you help researchers at Ulster University learn more about access to rehabilitation services (including physio, occupational therapy, speech therapists, psychologists)? This research will involve joining a 90-minutes virtual Focus Group

Exercise , PMR and Hip replacement
At last I've had a second opinion on my hip pain and the surgeon immediately agreed the op was necessary. The first surgeon last September said the pain was in the wrong place ie.not in my groin and inner thighs and so declined to do anything. Since then my mobility has decreased rapidly, can scarcely

Lung infection.
I am having breathing exercises from physio at hospital. She listened to my left lung at bottom and said that I've got a lung infection cause she could hear crackling and to ask my gp for antibiotics. My gp knows I have allergies and it was noted that I can no longer have amoxicillin as I felt

Cross training or dicing with injury?
Hello all, my half marathon training was going well, a couple of 10 mile runs under my belt, when boom! I was playing badminton this week and my calf suddenly cramped up. There happened to be a physio playing. She told me to stop straight away. Said it was my soleus muscle and not to exercise for at

Blood tests for Adrenal Insufficiency
I'm 6 years into my PMR journey now and was OK until tapering below 5mg pred. Gradually my fingers started to seize up and now at 1mg I can't bend my thumb or index finger on right hand. Have had x-ray on both hands and all is OK. Had physio and still no success. Rheumatology is sending me for a blood

Started Physio today, exhausted!
I've had quite the weekend. Lovely weather on Saturday and Sunday had me out for a walk and sitting in the sun on the Saturday and on Sunday, I drove through to see my parents, a 45 minute drive each way. Spent 6 hours there, sitting in the sun and chatting. Of course the weather now is crap! Today

L5 S1 fusion physical therapy
Can anyone share what types of exercise is used in physical therapy after the fusion. I can walk about a mile most days but get pain and soreness if I stand too much. I start PT suggested by my surgeon next week.
