Thanks to Beatlesforever , we both have just now committed 😳 to the 30-day challenge to improve Strength & Mobility for runners, by a daily short-ish workout routine put forward by well-know sports physio James Dunne!

Feel free to join us over there! It’s free and it’s happening over at the Strength & Flexibility Forum!

Thank you for the pointer! Signed up for the emails. Don't know if I'll see it through, strength and flex has been something of a blind spot with me so far, but looking forward to trying it out. πŸ™

Fabulous.

See how it feels. Having done the one for today, it is (for me) quite intense but just about doable. But seems to focus only on legs.

For an all around intro to Strength & Flex I still think our classic original 5-week programme ( healthunlocked.com/strength... ) is the best, so you can always switch to that if the James Dunne feels too focussed on legs or too intense.

Finished day 1. I thought it would be a gentle introduction, but the Hip Flexor really got the front of my right leg, and I thought my left leg was going to go into spasm in the Adductor stretch. πŸ˜‚All done though. I have been doing the stretches recommended for C25K since August which has helped me I think. I am inflexible though and not convinced I am doing these new stretches correctly, but hope to improve each day as they become more familiar! πŸ‘

Brilliant!

And just to note: most of the chat about this challenge is happening over on S&F at healthunlocked.com/strength...

So feel free to join that community and save that linked post to stay part of the chatter about these workouts!

Well done. Yes, I think my stretch routines helped my mobility immensely, as well!
