bendroflumethiazide and worsening fibromyalgia
I have had problems with Long Covid breathlessness and raised heart raise on gentle exercise ( getting washed etc)over the last 15 months and had various interventions/ treatments. Most recent was a cardiologist deciding it was my BP lowering drug indapamide 2.5 mg causing problems and he swopped it

Ranexa 375 mg prolonged-release Tablets \ Ranolazine 375 mg. Has anybody had any adverse effect from this medication.
My angina has recently become unstable. I did encourage my to GP to increase my dose of Ranolazine 375 mg to 500 mg. This caused continuous severe angina to such an extent I had to go to A & E, as having a good three double blasts of my GTN spray no angina relief had happened. A few hours later, after

Low heart rate
For the past few weeks my husband has been concerned about his low heart rate averaging at 47bpm. He has a pacemaker and ICD. He takes bisoprolol 2.5mg, Candesartan 32mg and Indapamide 1.5mg. He has been feeling more light headed and dizzy but we put that down to the heat. He has a telephone appointment

new meds. Are they good news?
hi. So I eventually met the heart failure team last week, 4 months after the doomster cardiac nurse told me over the phone that I had hf. The hf guy was brilliant and explained everything in plain terms and said that everything was relatively normal although a borderline ef of 45%. It was a relief as

Cocktail a cause perhaps?
I’ve been on Prednisolone for 2 years this month starting at 15mg steadily going down until January when I stopped at 1mg . It wasn’t long before I had to back up to 5 mg . I am also on weekly Risondodate for bone protection as well as two blood pressure tablets 15mg candesartan and 2.5 mg indapamide

Should I be concerned
I am currently taking Ramipril 10mg , Lercandipine 20mg & Indapamide 2.5mg. Despite being on these my BP is still on the high side. I eat healthy, get plenty of exercise, don't drink or smoke. I have even cut caffeine out not that I drank much tea in the first place. When I first started Lercandipine

Is the answer age-related valid?
My potassium level showed up on my blood test as 6 and they gave me a binder for two days and a diet I must follow. What I can not get is an answer to my question is this a kidney problem or the effect of the blood pressure perindopril I have taken for ten years? I am 78.

Cocktail of drugs
Just starting taking digoxin along with bisoprolol and perindopril which I was already taking, following my heart going into AF a couple of days ago. I had cardioversion approx 20 months ago. Anyone else taking this cocktail of medicines?

Has anyone successfully used Dr. Peatfield´s Adrenal Fatigue protocol?
I have read several articles by Dr. P where he stresses that treating and optimising adrenal health is crucial before adding thyroid hormone. He recommends using glandulars or HC/prednisone (depending on how severe the condition is) for 8-12 weeks and then trying to wean off it and see if the thyroid

Indapamide & Atorvastatin
Hi I’ve been taking above since May last year and gradually I have had a ‘redness’ appear on shins. This fades on and off during the day . There is a smaller area on right lower shin with very small orange patches which apparently the doctor said are small fat deposits but he’s not said what to do about

What's next after Perindopril no longer sufficient?
I am new here and have had Heart Failure and Atrial Fibrillation for a long time but it was only diagnosed about 4 years ago. My heart pressure recently went up to around 160/100 from 120/90 even after my perindopril was increased from 2mg to 8mg and I am wondering what the next step will be?

Diuretics use for treating blood pressure
The cardiologist has prescribed
indapamide
(I'm also on
perindopril
) to help my heart, reduce my BP and lessen the chance of oedema (which I've suffered once in 10 years). I've been on them for 3 days now and due to the diuretic effect, I have lost nearly three kg.
