bendroflumethiazide and worsening fibromyalgia

I have had problems with Long Covid breathlessness and raised heart raise on gentle exercise ( getting washed etc)over the last 15 months and had various interventions/ treatments. Most recent was a cardiologist deciding it was my BP lowering drug indapamide 2.5 mg causing problems and he swopped it for Bendroflumethiazide 2.5 mg. First dose last Thursday am. Over the weekend my all over fibro pain and fatigue has worsened and obviously wondering if it could be new drug… anybody had similar from this?

Sorry to read your pain has got worse, could you ring your surgery for a call back from your doctor and have a word ? The dreaded Covid I caught it beginning of July this year and it did effect my breathing lucky it sorted its self now but you feel so rough if you get a bad dose, I’ve just had my booster . I hope you get some answers ,take care x

unfortunately my GP surgery doesn’t do phone back… last time I had a phone appointment it took 6 weeks! Neither do they ‘do’ fibro; even the recent cardio phone call changing the BP meds was not as a result of continued week-long summaries of BP, heart rates and health comments to the GPS but the result of a yearly diabetic check with a nurse ( first face to face one for nearly 3 years). Thus resulting to me DIY.
