All has been well, touch wood, but still waiting for my valve repair op, so the EP is going to chat to the surgeon (I've left messages on his secretary's voicemail but she hasn't got back to me). Any recommended cardiologists in far NW/NE England for specific BP problems
Now on 4+ years Long Covid problems with a mix of high BP when for eg sitting ( systolic into 160s), but very low postural hypotension when standing. Have been on 6 pills to reduce BP, left on 5 for 2 years until last Jan. when a Falls consultant with tilt test table diagnosed the postural hypotension

List of drugs by their metastatic prostate cancer cancer fighting properties
I asked ChatGPT to put the following drugs in order of their metastatic prostate cancer cancer fighting properties: Metformin, statins, mebendazole, vitamin C, doxycline, Silymarin and Esomeprazole (Nexium). Here is the answer from ChatGPT: Determining the order of these drugs based on their potential

Are all Blood Pressure Meds Awful?
I realise they may be/are lifesaving, but after nearly 30 years I am running out of options for BP control. For many years I took 25mg atenolol, 20 Lisinopril and 1.5 Indapamide. The latter seemed to make the biggest difference. I can’t take large doses of beta blockers as they stop me from breathing

reducing/ coming off propranolol slow release 80mg - has anyone had success with this as all I see is bad things…
prescribed propranolol for what they thought was anxiety, I was originally on ramipril for high bp however stopped this (stupidly) I felt I was having withdrawal and ended up in a n e but told it was anxiety. Was then put on indapamide for bp, I then had a few days of feeling really awful, doctor then

Return of the Duck. The Saga Continues.......
Good morning guys and gals.Hope everyone is as well as they can be. Well, here's the promised update from a couple of years ago but to be fair, nothing much had happened on the heart surgery front, I'd been in nsr and I have still been contributing replies. Settle down with a strong drink of choice,

indapamide / Tinnitus
Hello Peeps, I recently went up from 1.25mg indapamide daily (half 2.5mg pill esch day) to 1.5mg indapamide extended release. Fairly quickly I noticed a low volume pulsating humming sound at home, particularly in the evenings that sounded a bit like there was an engine running. I even asked neighbours

LOSS OF COMPLETE AND TOTAL ERECTIONS AFTER CIRCUMCISION PROCEDURE CARRIED OUT 14 MONTHS AGO.
In January 2023, I had two procedures (1) circumcision (2) check the blockage unable to ejaculate. The reason I had both procedures, was frightened by the Urologist that I might develop a cancer with tight foreskin. I never had any such pain, never complained to my Doctor. Both procedures were botched
