Indapamide - Does peeing more than normal settle down?
I've recently been prescribed the diuretic Indapamide (1.5mg). A cardiologist suggested that the effects of peeing more than normal can tend to settle down after about a month. Has anyone found that to be the case for them? I cycle between 30 and 50 miles, 5 mornings a week , so the inconvenience of

Hello, I first went into AF three and a half years ago. I have had two failed Cardioversions, two ablations one 6 hours one 7 hours and felt on top of the world until November when a nasty virus set it off again. I had a routine appointment in Nov and have just had a routine 48heart monitor. My pulse

Perindopril and anaemia
I'm asking for anti-GP ammunition again ;) or maybe not anti, but I want to be well armed before I go in with my request. I've just seen that anaemia is a possible side effect of Perindopril. It's one of the rare ones but, according to WebMD, if it does occur it's usually severe. I was started on Perindopril

Feeling sleepy after eating
I am 74 and take perindopril for BP. Otherwise am pretty healthy my only problem which appeared before I took the BP meds is that after every meal or even a sandwich I immediately want to sleep. Even after breakfast, following a night's sleep, I want to sleep. I try to fight it and sometimes succeed

Doxazosin & Adverse Side Effects
Does anyone take Doxazosin to treat high blood pressure? I also take Indapamide and Irbesartan. However, I've been having quite a bit of persistent abdominal pain over the last couple of weeks. I've been on the Doxazosin for approx 3-4 weeks. I've just had a read through side effects and abdominal

Once upon a time....
This post outlines how my diagnosis came about and why I’m feeling a little more positive. I’d been ‘unwell’ for a while, backwards and forwards to the GP with various symptoms that collectively were having a real impact on my life. First, I was told it was pernicious anaemia. That was some time

Bisoprolol
I used to get up for a wee 4 or 5 times a night. Since I started taking my Bisoprolol at night, I am sleeping better and only getting up for 1 wee. I suspect that the side effect of fatigue is helping me sleep. Side issue: been to the doctor's this morning. As my BP has come down to 110-ish/65-ish he
