Need advice on Prednisone dose for GCA
I have also had to take
percocet
to help keep the pain down. The higher the prednisone - 40mg., the less pain help and vice versa. Still at 40mg I have to take a few a day. Oddly, the pain help is useless unless I am on prednisone.

Severe pain; searching for answers and solutions!
I'm unable to work without taking medication; I'm taking 80mg of OxyContin and 22.5mg of
Percocet
daily, just to hold down my two jobs, clean my dishes, provide for my wife, and so forth. Otherwise, I'd spend 20hrs a day in bed and essentially remain useless.

Hello and thanks for the add. My back pain began in 1988 as a result far too many step aerobic classes and pushing patients here and there.
Most of the time my pain is controlled through
Percocet
5mg every 4 hours and spinal injections at the sacral root every 3 months.

Introducing myself
I take a few
Percocet
through the day as well just to get to a 5 pain level. - On top of that, I feel so tired - emotionally and physically. I cannot make "plans" because I have no idea how I will feel. Every day is a struggle. - Lastly, the prednisone side effects are tough.

Fibromyalgia..what's worked for you?
She said something about a time release hydrocodone instead and I guess I don't know anything other than what I've been on which would be the fentanyl patch that actually worked well once I found the right dose and manufacture, I know that there are other patches that are like
percocet
or something else

Diagnosed with Panca Vasculitis, Rhumatoid, and Osteoarthritis
I am on 10 mg. of prednisone and 500mg of
Percocet
for my pain right now. The Rhumatoligist hasn't told me if I can go off of the pain pill and prednisone if I take the Azathioprine or Rituximab. The Doctor is lowering my pain medication and my prednisone though, even though I'm still in pain.

Is it possiblefor antidepressants to worsen menstrual pain?
Im praying this doesnt last for days because without
percocet
i truly can do nothing but lay in bed grasping on to a pillow and yelling out in pain, often crying when it gets this bad.

A Little Venting is Good
Percocet
takes the edge off, barely. All and all, we must keep a positive attitude about our conditions.. after all, there are people much worse off. Sometimes I wonder where they are, but I'm sure they're out there. I miss dancing and gardening the most. And Venting is therapeutic. Thank you.

My doctor is prescribing anti-depressants & anti-convulsants for pain, but it's not helping
My doctor at the time prescribed
Percocet
and a NSAID for pain and it worked well. Two years ago I went to prison and now that I am out I have a new doctor who has prescribed Gabapentin and then Amitriptyline both which were not effective for the pain, and caused undesirable side effects.

Desperate For Help.....Intense Pain
I take one 10 mg
Percocet
every morning as soon as I can handle drinking water. I really need 2 pills a day, but so far no luck. Hopefully on my next visit to Pain Management, the Dr. will understand.

Endocrinologist says testing waste of time
I eat healthy, fresh fruit, veggies, gluten free, and organic and bits of 1-2 5mg
Percocet
in a 24 hr period, as it is the only thing that helps with the pain.

Pelvic pain, body pain, anxiety
He also thinks I only take
Percocet
occasionally not everyday. He will massage my back and my feet and when I cry about things and have severe panic attacks,he always comforts me, he goes to my many doctors appointments, but I can't seem to feel better about anything.
