Percocet

I found that 2 Percocet 10/325 takes the edge off the pain. I called an advice nurse and was told to go to the E/R. I REALLY do not want to go to the E/R. I’m going to see how the Percocet works. Thanks for reading and for any assistance!

I have been taking one Percocet about 9 PM also but does not seem to work as well as it did in my tapering off of Ropinerole. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Gabapentin nor Percocet have helped I’ve always tried smoking baths stretches I mean any darn thing you can think of 😭

I have been taking Percocet for years 2-3 a day for several years. In the past year and now often when I take percocet my heart can race over 140 beats per minute . I had an echo and ekg and numerous other heart tests. My cardiologist said my heart was good and he has no answers for me.

I am trying to wean myself off percocet and just stay on Horizant 1200 mg and also use medical marihuana as needed for RLS. Percocet is being used for augmentation from being on Pramipexole for 10 years and for some back pain.

Go to a pain clinic and hope for percocet??? Norco doesn't phase the pain. Nor hot pads or electric massagers, variety of pain cream, nor Delta 8 gummies legal in KY. IF THC was available I would try that. Any experienced in this?

I also am coming down off of Percocet and I need to switch to something different. I am in so much pain 24/7 that life is hard to get through each day. I can retire but it will be a bit tight as I a little under 60. Can anyone provide me some information and some hope.

On Percocet 10mg at night to deal with augmentation from Pramipexole while waiting to get in to see a neurologist. What dose seems to work for people? Does it make you tired if you take it during the day? I’m experiencing Withdrawal during day now too.

A pain specialist recommended I go on Percocet with Tramadol, post-surgery. Surgeon is skeptical, because Percocet is just Oxycodone with acetaminophen and that's two opioids together, which he thinks is dangerous due to respiration suppression. Any suggestions out there, please.

I can't take any Tylenol containing meds like Percocet due to kidney problems and am doubtful that it can deal with such severe pain.

My pain management tool is Percocet (5/325), twice daily. My MO is sympathetic about my having pain, but, other than prescribing the Percocet, seems disinclined to delve more into the cause/s of the pain, or into possible alternatives to Percocet. Is this pain a side-effect of the Lupron?

I am currently taking percocet 5 325 mg and went back on dexamethadone 2 mg every 12 hours. Yesterday I doubled up on oxy I had spoken to my care team friday and they suggested keep a pain journal, Fun Fun....

I find it doesn't stop my RLS so I am back to taking percocet as it is the only thing that stops it. Has anyone here tried Horizant and what is your experience?

I have been on Percocet for over 15 years. But I wanted to see if I could take something else as I start taking the percocet at 5:00 PM and take a half pill every hour until 11:00 when I turn the lights off in my bedroom and go to sleep.

I'm on Percocet for the surgery but Percocet does nothing for the headache as I detox from caffeine withdrawal. Many times in the past I tried to quit caffeine. It's always been ten days of stuporous headache that nothing will relieve.

I’m taking 30 mg of Percocet as more of an anxiety treatment than for my bad back. Weaned off Xanax. Took 2 yrs. Went from 3 mg daily to none. After 35 years of Xanax, I feel I need to continue with Benzos.

Took small amount of Percocet last night (5-375). 1/2 tablet. Slept 5 + hours. Am I on the right track and what to expect? Have had rls for 20 plus years was on mirapex .25 to .50. Wasn’t working as good, switched to Neupro patch just had trouble with skin irritation it worked fine!

The oncologist and his radiation oncology team says it's part of the disease but that is is "doing well," and should take Ibuprophen, Tylenol or even Percocet for what bothers him. He's not big into doing much to help himself so it is frustrating for my mother and I to deal with him.

I am in a lot of pain from something else and do take a Percocet on occasion. My MO prescribed Ditropan; after reading ALL the side effects I decided to pass. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don’t even know what to wear to bed anymore. Maybe I should try a clothespin.

GP Doc finally put me on Percocet -- which is way too weak to do much good. Have bone mets for almost 2 years from femurs to neck, and sometimes excruciating pain. Starting Hospice soon as my MO discharged me.
