How do you know it's adeno flare not something else? So much pain!
Hello ladies....hope you're not suffering too much today. 💕 My question is - how do you know it's an adeno flare and not something else? (I'm a wee bit scared right now). I'm on day 7 of my period - still bleeding bright red blood, medium to light in flow, but that's not overly unusual. My back pain

Update after consultant visit
Here is the update after consultant visit. As PMR pro suspected I have now been put on Alendronic acid, a liquid bottle of 70mg made up with 30mg water to 100mg weekly due to recent DEXA scan. She did say she didn't think my scan was bad as I am just past menopaused and many women are at this point without

Nerve block injection
I’ve had neck and shoulder pain for years tried everything without any real relief. Next moth I have an appointment with a radio neurologist, where I am to be given a nerve block injection in the even that this will work. I’ve heard so many discouraging things about this injection, and would welcome

One day... I bet one day we will be treated the same way...
I know this is migraine and not PD but this is really a dramatic breakthrough in neurology. I think the question has to be asked by patients and neurologists alike, is it still going to be ethical when these guys have accomplished their phase III trials to continue to research invasive expensive solutions

Tens machine.
Is it safe to use a Tens machine? I have used it a few times. It didn't seem to bother me. I just wondered if anyone has had a problem with using it with AF?

I posted recently that it can be good news even after having very severe cirrhosis, life threatening bleeds etc. There is a way back from this. Second cheerful post. This one is about pain relief battle.I have peripheral neuropathy, probably caused by the liver disease and a dodgy back (lumbar disc likes

Male pudendal nerve décompression surgery
I am hoping that there are some men out there that have had this surgery and would like to share their experience whether good or bad. I have seen five specialist pelvic floor physios over the past 3.5years and none of them have met clients who have had the surgery yet they are quick to suggest success

Bewildered
Hello to all, I’m new to this. I have a question for anyone who may have similar things going on as I’m bewildered about my diagnosis. I was diagnosed with cerebella ataxia in December 2021. I spent quite a few weeks in hospital having scans and eeg etc. loads of tests and neurologist then I was told

TENS machines
Hello. Does any one have experience of using a TENS machine in pain reduction? I’m interested to know: does it work for Endo? And is multi-point stimulation better than one? Thanks.

Recurring Infection and Pudendal Nerve Pain?
So I’m not sure if this will help others but I had a pelvic infection 35 years ago and then agonising pain in my right groin 6 mos later (no elevated sed rate) which responded to doxycycline - numb aching mass - and Drs said my symptoms sounded like an abscess (but a pelvic sonogram showed nothing)

shingles vaccination
Has anyone had experience of shingles vaccination and if so, any downsides? I have let my fingertips do a bit of research and found that Zostavax has been withdrawn in USA but they are giving Shingrix. It appears that Z is a live vaccine and Shingrix is inactive and more suitable for immunosuppressed

Hello I am thinking of buying a Nurokor Tens machine and wondered what the general feedback is on whether they work on chronic pain or not.

Shingles is urgent!
After a post about Shingles, it is worth pointing out that if you think you have Shingles, contact GP immediately or emergency 'phone number if out of hours as the antivirals have to be prescribed as soon as possible to help. I had Shingles a couple of years ago while on Pred (no Actemra or anything
