A newbie with PSP needs advice!
The DAT scan came back as “probable
Parkinsonism
” and my neurologist told me it was most likely “a-typical
Parkinsonism
”. A short search on Google told me that PSP was probably the diagnosis that I would be given. And then, my neurologist changed his affiliation, and I could no longer see him.

5-HTP
Who is finding 5-HTP useful? For what? At what dosage? I've read that it boosts serotonin, helping anxiety, depressIon and tremors, but that smaller doses work better than larger ones.

Be prepared for doctor's appointment
I have been here since 2004 and finally diagnosed in 2010 after Tremor came out in my hand at the end of 2009. I had a long chat today with a dispensary employee. He gave me interesting information I wanted to share with you. First he said CBD may be oil, cream, or other product that is smoked. All CBD has at least trace amounts of THC. However you can get CBD which has almost all THC removed. CBD does

The benefits of exercising to music
One aspect of Parkinson's is the body's desire not to move, which it achieves by reducing dopamine production and freezing, rigidity and bradykinesia. Playing loud, low, beat-y music at between 100-120 beats per minute while you exercise eliminates the freezing response and allows you to move much more

Evidence for supplements?
I suppose the title of the post says it really! Like everybody else, I spend lots of money on NAC, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Co-enzyme Q10, Resveratrol etc etc. I'm about 2 years in and feel okay but the disease is progressing slowly despite all of my strategies. Therefore, I ask myself, is there any point

Sorry for the delay guys. The Bible tells us fathers not to provoke are children to wrath, I am afraid that I do like to push their buttons. Need Advise
I take Senemet, 25-100, three times a day. I understand that the 100 stands for the mg of L-dopa in the prescription. I'm trying to substitute Macuna Purins for at least one of the Senemet daily. The Macuna I have says it is 15 mg per tab. Is there a way to calculate the amount of Macuna to take? Hopefully
