Have any of you had any experience with the Urban Poling Activator?
The poles are very similar to Nordic Walking Poles, but the techniques taught for using them are a bit different. The hand shake goes to a more bent elbow and the poles don't go behind you. https://urbanpoling.com/getting-started/ I purchased The companion combo, which was a bargain. Now

Restless Leg Syndrome
Hi, my dad has been suffering with vascular
Parkinsonism
for a few years now. His main problem is with restless leg syndrome. He says his legs ‘ache’ and it starts in the evening. He’s had my 80year old mother exhausted getting in and out of bed on top of suffering from urinary incontinence.

anyone experienced nausea whilst taking NAC (N-ACETYL CYSYEINE)
I have been becoming increasingly nauseous over the last 3 weeks. I started taking 500mg twice daily of NAC (N-ACETYL CYSYEINE) about 3 weeks ago. This was prescribed by a nutritionist along with a B-complex and Omega 3. I was also taking L-theanine and Serotone 5-HTP - but I stopped this a week ago

So which 'subtype' are you?
There's a vid on Youtube. It's entitled 'The Stages of Parkinsons' but they start off by describing the types of PD. It's a neurologist narrating and I was surprised at the simplicity if his argument (and not in a good way). He first cited the Tremor Dominant type and declared that this was the best

The importance of vitamin B6 against Parkinson's. The end of a meaningless prejudice since 1975.
This contraindication makes little sense with normal doses of vitamin B6 because now levodopa is taken in association with carbidopa (Sinemet) or benserazide (Madopar), which avoids these problems. 711 Formerly 61 was proposed to treat
parkinsonism
with vitamin B6.

How Tremor Affects Learning Abilities in Patients With Parkinson Disease
Patients with Parkinson disease (PD) who do not experience tremor were found to show improvements in reward learning after taking dopaminergic medication, while those with PD and tremor exhibited no benefit in reinforcement learning, according to study findings published in the journal Brain. https:/

What if I heat a glass of water and add Mannitol and Cinnamon powder, and take B1 Thiamine HCL and Magtein / Magnesium L-Threonate capsules and gulp all of it together? What do you think will happen?

PSP Success - Complementary Therapies Rock!
My PSP was diagnosed 2018. No advice received from the medics, but I have a good GP. Immediately I started on personal research and a regime of complementary therapies (Cranial work has been brilliantly successful) plus targeted exercises (Pilates, etc), plus specific diet (organic Mediterranean),

Parkinson's and Menopause
I'd love to hear from women diagnosed with PD or
Parkinsonism
who are in menopause or who went through it while also dealing with PD. I'm 54 and I've been perimenopausal for years already.
