Why would different brands of mannitol affect me differently?
I purchased bulk mannitol powder (BioFinest brand) from Amazon in October of 2018 after watching videos about the benefits of mannitol for PD. I learned about high-dose thiamine HCL at the same time and started taking it at the beginning of November 2018. I didn’t want to mix therapies, so I decided

Does increasing your daily exercise increase your need for thyroid hormone?
It makes sense to me that you would need more thyroid hormone for increased energy consumption, right? Within a couple of days after I started taking adrenal cortex, I finally felt better (I was already on 1.5 grains NDT) so I started taking longer walks with my dog - 1.5 hours daily instead of 40 minutes

THE BENEFITS OF TAURINE ON STRESS
I recently found some interesting info re: Taurine, an amino acid that can be missing in the brain or lower in people with neurological disorders with extreme anxiety or stress. I've been taking it at night and was just told I could take more of it without harm. Severe stress uses up Taurine in our

A question for my most knowledgeable friends around the world.
Recently, three years after my diagnosis, after I stopped mirapexin, I switched to an effervescent formulation of levodopa called Sirio 25/100. I take half a tablet in the morning and a half after lunch (plus 1 mg of rasagiline in the evening). Why is the best time of the day in the evening from 5pm

Our virtual pub took place today. I believe everybody enjoyed it. Next Sunday, 9/27, 2nd HU virtual gathering @ 5 PM London time.
50+ people gave me their email addresses. 25 people plugged in. We got to introduce ourselves and put a face to the name. Zoom has 4 breakout rooms. In order to allow more substantive conversation, next week, I thought I would send the 1st ten who plug-in to one breakout room and the 2nd 10

George started Clear Detox Pro yesterday
Clear Detox Pro is a detoxing nano particle zeolite., or clinoptolite ,https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=zeolite, Our doctor has had good success with it in his Parkinson's patients. George bought 3 bottles which will last 3 months, for $135.00 per bottle. Presumably, he will be done in 3 months

Scientists look to cell recycling tools for new ways to treat Parkinson's disease
A new study clue finds an understanding approach of PD " The scientists noticed that the PARKIN-lacking neurons with malfunctioning mitochondria had more activation of a protein-making gene called PARIS which is linked to mitochondria regulation. When Dawson and his colleagues genetically engineered

When to see a nephrologist?
I have
parkinsonism
. I don’t have anemia, but my hemoglobin is always low so I am unable to donate blood. Could the low hemoglobin be caused by the CKD? I am also always fatigued.
