Thinking about really hurting myself.
Hi everyone, my wife and I have had 2 big fights lately and we are on the verge of co
parenting
. My wife basically blames me for her being in the state she is from, we moved from my home state because of no good jobs to make it on.

Good Morning
Parenting
can be so tough and hearing from others experiencing similar, can make you feel less alone and the support or suggestions from those who have experienced and come out the other side can be a game changer.

9 year old son with Emotional Outbursts
He also does some group therapy but it's more geared towards us on
parenting
strategies and how to manage "big emotions." I'm glad I found this group because sometimes it is a daily struggle at home and mentally/emotionally exhausting for both my wife and I to manage/help our son.

Husband doesn't like my 5 year old
I understand my son is difficult, and
parenting
right now is hard and exhausting. But he's only a 5 year old kid.

Why are parenting books so far off?
It seems that the hardest part of
parenting
ADHD is that it looks so different than mainstream or neurotypical
parenting
. The books written on How to Parent just don’t apply when you kids is wired differently. So what are you supposed to do? Well, coming to a group like this is fantastic.

Feeling the stresses of parenting a child with ADHD
How do I learn to ignore my child when he gets so angry at me? I totally get why and that the ADHD interferes with his emotional control and ability to self regulate. He has become so irritable and it’s like a ticking time bomb that I have to tip toe around. And I am the parent who gets hit the hardest

Ruminating thoughts about parenting style in school
To frame things up, I have been diagnosed with clinical depression before, so this recent episode is aggravating it.My daughter came home 2 weeks ago socially exhausted after school, another girl created drama by pulling her hair and took steps to ostracize her through whatsapp. Blah blah, I have started

I wish I could have my old life back
I miss the pure joy of
parenting
. I miss just being a mom. I just started the right therapy and medication and I hope it helps. I would do anything to have a clear mind. Never in a million years did I think I would be in the position I am in today. Sincerely, Heartbroken momma

parenting a child with adhd
hi my son has an extreme case of adhd and I need help with understanding him better and how to parent him better. I feel like I’m failing as a mom and I need help. I have him in therapy and he is on two different medications and he is outside a lot. I may need help on what foods I shouldn’t give him
