Effect of a bad cold?
I was comfortably working my way down via DSNS from 8.5 to 8 when I caught a nasty cold (negative for covid). The morning pain in my shoulders became very unpleasant, though not to the level of what I would call a flare, which I have experienced before. The pain subsided but never really left all day

Psych evaluation
Hi! This is for those of you who are either on the liver transplant list or who have had a transplant. What I'd like to know is whether you were given a psychological evaluation or a one-to-one conversion with a trained therapist as to how to deal with serious organ rejection should it occur.

Advice on increasing Pred for breathlessness and persistent cough
My GP told me that breathlessness is a symptom of PMR, so I can't seek her advice on how to manage this cough etc. Some people are saying that Eris Covid is around and it presents as a bad cough which does not show up as positive on home covid testing kits. I have had a persistent productive cough

Not impressed
Decided to go through my medical notes such as they are, and blood tests again now I'm more sensible again. All hospital consultations are missed off and consequently diagnoses. Oh, and there is a gp consultation noted that never took place. Basically my notes appear to be a mess. What really

What is your experience with oral thrush and nystatin?
I’m experiencing a bad taste in my mouth that’s affecting my taste of food and sometimes feeling like there’s a lump in my throat when swallowing. . My GP looked in my mouth and said “you may have thrush”. She prescribed Nystatin. I don’t have the white plaques that bleed, etc., just

Duration of a first NHS Endocrinologist Appointment
Is a first, initial NHS Endocrinology appointment for hypothyroidism, which appears to be possible central hypo, genetic and suggestive of a pituitary tumour of 30 minutes duration, then thrown out regardless of time required to discuss the problem? Internal tremble - frequency and cause
Since having covid in 2020 there are times when I suddenly feel trembly inside. I feel less steady, movement and sensation can be affected slightly. Nobody would notice but I don't feel right. Just an update on my last post. As I mentioned I had the X-ray and scan done privately as there is a long wait for scans on NHS. They were both done and the results were sent straight through to the GP. I had Hoped to get the steroid injection within a couple of days again privately. I telephoned the

Low AMH downhearted 4th round
Hi, I have had 3 rounds of IVF in the past 20months and am now 35yrs of age. One resulted in a missed miscarriage at 7weeks and the other two I had nothing to transfer as we have also undergone genetic testing due to an issue on my side. We've been very fortunate in that these cycles were NHS funded

bronchiectasis, asthma and long covid
Hi, I’m about 3 months into my bronchiectasis journey since my diagnosis earlier this year. My 3 month azithromycin trial went well and is now on my repeat prescription list (with it feels like a million other things ) I went for assessment for pulmonary rehab and the physio decided I’m too affected

Immature eggs at egg collection
Second round of IVF, first round we got 8 eggs but poor fertilisation, only 2 fertilised and we transferred one day 3 which was a BFN. None to freeze. This round we changed to ICSI and we got 11 eggs but only 4 were mature. Will find out tomorrow how many fertilised with ICSI. I’ve cried so much since

Best natural anti anxiety remedy
Hi, I was wondering what natural treatments people are taking to help with the anxiety that a lot of us with T have to deal with every day ? Does 5-htp work ? How about St Johns wort and L Theanine ? Which seems to work best for you ?
