Alternative to ibuprofen
I use
paracetamol
for most pain however I sometimes get muscle spasms in my neck/shoulder which I found ibuprofen treated. Does anyone know of an alternative painkiller that may help?

Pain diminishing
to post an update and share what I'm doing with my diet: I was diagnosed on 20th October 2023, put on 15mg Pred, 1 month later reduced to 12.5mg then Saturday 16th Dec reduced to 10mg, at first all the pain and stiffness reappeared and I was gutted but it was "only" 6/10 and after taking 1 x 500mg

Natural missed miscarriage
I spent the day on the sofa with a hot water bottle and took regular
paracetamol
as I also had a headache from stopping the meds. That evening I passed some clots and wasn't sure if it was the pregnancy tissue.

Laparoscopy made everything 1000x times worse, anyone else?
I take a combination of: (depending on what's pains/issues are going on) tranexamic acid, mefenamic acid, ibuprofen, codine/ tramadol
paracetamol
, naproxen, Diclofenac sodium, Propranolol (for the anxiety) Omeprazole. Personally I find the naproxen and codine are usually best, for me.

Avoid prescribing desiccated (natural) thyroid extract
I mean, we still have numerous medicines which are dosed in milligram equivalents of grains - such as some aspirin and
paracetamol
products. When you see 325 (five grains) rather than 300 or 350. And many other questionable statements and assertions.

I think Tramadol has caused my RLS
The Tramadol seemed to work for a while but I found myself taking
paracetamol
at night (only a few). I went away for a week late summer and forgot my pills pouch. Wow! That was an almighty shock. The withdrawal was terrible!

Adenomyosis diagnosis journey
Take some
paracetamol
for the cramps and pain. My periods weren't regular, I could have periods that last days, weeks, months and I could have a week, day or months off from having a period too; as I got older and the more periods I had they became more intense with pain.

paracetamol
and naproxen and mirtazipine.

He told me to take
paracetamol
and Ibroprofen which I take anyway which I told him, didn't want to know. He is going to write to my GP to tell them absolutely nothing.

Morphine & Oramorph.
He already has regular gabapentin and
paracetamol
It feels like a no win situation, he is very sleepy on the codeine we are struggling for him to eat and drink. We are worried this will make him worse. But does this outweigh being comfy, just don't know. I hate seeing him like this.

What's going on?
Paracetamol
/aspro help briefly but pain and affect on my daily life is getting ridiculous. (Busy homeschooling mum). Sitting down and getting up is a major mission. Have been going to physio (referred by rheumatologist) and her exercises aren't doing a thing except are massively painful.

high ileostomy output
I’m just worried I’m doing something wrong I did stop all the strong pain meds as soon as I left hospital so I wonder if it’s a side effect to that as it wasn’t this fast in hospital but I don’t get on with strong meds so I’ve just been taking
paracetamol
however I am concerned about the high output

Flare?
She was now taking 8
paracetamol
per day aswell. My mum increased her prednisone from 10mg to 12.5mg, but 24 hours there was no change & it was now Christmas eve and not wanting to be in such pain over Christmas I convinced her to increase to 15mg on Christmas Eve morning.

Stress - I ignored the obvious ...
Nothing could touch the (now severe) pain, head, arms, wrists, fatigue -
paracetamol
, Ibuprofen, sumatriptan, codeine etc were all useless. I didn't want to mention it to my wife for obvious reasons.

Does this sound like endo?
been told it's IBS, a stomach ulcer, stress, or that I have a low pain threshold and I have got to the point where I feel like I'm going mad.I have a bicornuate uterus, and have always had incredibly painful periods, but when I have mentioned this to my doctors, they have said it's normal and to take
