What shall I do?
I’m new to this condition (AF). I am waiting for my telephone conversation with a cardiologist at my local hospital. As I am having AF episodes nearly every other day (yesterday I had an episode in the morning at 9am when I had just woke up and another at 11.30pm) can I take paracetamol or anything

Nefopam?
I had a video consultation with my pain management doctor and one of the recommendations he made was to prescribe nefopam. He said this would be an as needed medication and I could take it up to 3 times per day in addition to my other pain meds (baclofen 10mg 3 times per day, paracetamol / dihydrocodeine

My blood pressure varies enormously during the day, but nearly always in the normal zone of 120/80 to 90/60 is this anything to worry about?
My heart failure nurse has loaned me a blood pressure monitor so I can take my own blood pressure. I have been experiencing dizzy spells. I also have rheumatoid arthritis, this has flared up really badly during lockdown and I've not been able to access timely treatment. I've been in terrible pain

Sometimes you just can't win! Injured my back and I wasn't even running!
I was so ready to go for a run today being that I have now recovered from being ill last week but I have to wait a bit longer now because I have managed to injure my lower left back! And I wasn't even running or anything exercise-based at all I was just doing the washing up! One second I was fine and

Tooth ache
Hi everyone. I’m 22 weeks pregnant with a horrible tooth ache, I’ve been told it sounds like I have periodontal disease which is gum disease and apparently very common in pregnancy. I’ve been using paracetamol and clove oil for pain, rinsing with corsodyl and salt water. I called 111 and they told me

Lovin' the sun; hatin' the pain
Morning peeps 😎 Hope this finds you as happy and as well as can be🙂 I'm currently shielding, but being paid from school - can't complain. I have a major problem with moving around- have done for some weeks now. I was off my meds: Cimzia, metaject and sulfasalazine are my main ones, for about 3 months

C25K W5
Just completed W5 but really struggled, as in, got to 11 minutes and felt like my legs were gonna give way! So just wondered am I OK to go back and start W5 again? And also, my legs are continuously in pain so I'm taking paracetamol for them, is this due to me being overweight or am I doing something

Painkillers post CABG
Hi. At 16 weeks post CABG am still finding I need to take 6-8 paracetamol a day for chest pain and upper body aches and pains. Is this the norm to other people's experiences? Thanks

Possible GCA ?
I would be interested to know what others think about my current situation. I was diagnosed with PMR about a month ago and was put on 15mg prednisolone which was about 80 percent effective. However, I was getting pain around my ear and also headache which came and went. Fast forward to one week ago

Symptom control
Hello This is my first post, be gentle with me! I was diagnosed with endometriosis in August last year. I was listed for surgery but then the whole COVID thing happened so it has been postponed. I have been regularly symptomatic for about 18 months now. I’m looking for advice of dealing with the bloating

Feeling ill after 1st "long" run?
Hi there! I was so proud to have been able to complete the 20min of week 5 yesterday, but the aftermath has been pretty horrific. I am assuming it's dehydration (which is weird in itself as I am a big water drinker), or just exhaustion but would love some thoughts? After coming back for the run I went

Help!
Yesterday was a rest day and I decided to go for a walk with dog. My left foot has been a little achy but assumed it’s because I’ve upped my exercise. I did a 9k trek and on return the outside of my foot was tender over the bone to the extent I needed paracetamol in the evening. Should I rest it
