I'm feeling down today and wonder if all of this is worth it - maybe just resort to
palliative

Does Jevtana/carboplatin cross the blood-brain barrier?
I also had my bladder irradiated (
palliative
care
). So my new trial has been delayed since mid-March and my PSA doubling time is 3 weeks.

My latest very sad news
He was discharged from
care
at the hospital and began
palliative
care
at home. I was shocked and distressed at how rapidly he deteriorated and distraught at how much pain he was in. He lost the battle on the 14th December and died in my arms in our home.

Hello,I live in Bradenton Florida and go to Moffitt Cancer in Tampa
I am so glad that I did because the Supportive
Care
Group (
Palliative
) is so marvelous at Moffitt! I wish I had known about it right after my dual mastectomy in June I 2016.

Update on Brother
At a minimum we have tried to push for
Palliative
Care
and again he refuses. I worry about him as he live alone in a tiny camper and has fairly significant HE, and is at considerable risk of bleeding, has edema in his legs and not very mobile.

Stage 4 Prostate Cancer, Quadruple bypass, & now a brain tumor!
We started him on
palliative
care
. They suggested doing a biopsy and a surgery at the same time rather than just a biopsy and re-entering the brain another time. They were 95% sure it was glioblastoma. Initial results, however were inconclusive.

Any advice much appreciated
We have been told that any
care
is
palliative
however, we have a decision to make.

Webinar - 3.30pm 10th December - End of life care for leukaemia
What is
palliative
care
? Who provides
palliative
care
? When does end of life care begin? What choices do I have in terms of end of life care? How do I find out about end of life care services in my area? Where can I seek support about end of life care? Where can my loved ones seek support?

Diagnosed with cancer (HCC) just from a scan?
The fact it appears to be in a vein means he’s refused a transplant and given
palliative
care
only. I sought some second opinions in Germany and Italy and they both looked at the same scan and do not believe it’s cancer. They recommended a biopsy.

W9R3 complete - the second time around
Then 'life happened' (my father was diagnosed with cancer, lots of travels abroad to coordinate
palliative
care
.... and he died at the very end of November). In January 2022, I stepped on the scales and found myself being 7 kg heavier. My BMI was 'overweight' and getting very close to 'obese'.

Weekly Taxol with or without Immunotherapy trial
Otherwise, I'm not sure I don't just want to refuse any treatment other than
palliative
/end of life
care
when I need it, but regardless, I just wanted to ask what it's like being on Taxol every week in terms of how bad I might feel, so any of you ladies who have had it, I'd love to hear your experiences

Fuck Cancer.
i am witnessing my beloved aunt pass away painfully due to ovarian cancer. we tried going to the hospital but we were already referred to
palliative
care
. it's so painful to see her suffering and losing strength each day that passes. idk I'm just feeling so defeated that's why i am writing this.

Palliative
Care
radiation to hips and femur, Docetaxal chemo and ADT currently. Looking for something to help with more energy, does not feed the cancer, and just an all over health/lifestyle change we can do together. Thank you in advance!
