Comfort and end-of-life care in
the intensive care unit: What
works and how do we put this
into practice?
We are looking for volunteers to help
us design a new study.
CAN YOU
HELP?
Hello, my name is Stephanie, I am a researcher at Hull York
Medical School and a doctor specialising in palliative medicine.
I am studying how we can best provide care on the intensive care
unit to support patients and their relatives during difficult times.
We plan to explore what works and what doesn't work
when trying to improve this supportive care. This will help
intensive care units plan changes in how they provide care
for their patients and relatives.
We need your help to ensure we are asking the right questions, and looking for
the right information in our study. You will be helping patients and families in the
intensive care unit in the future.
