recommendations needed for a pressure relief cushion
I have access to a
palliative
care
consultant, who is very supportive. Also ,the invaluable interstitial nurse helpline. So,I decided that it’s not too bad after all. I’m m counting my blessings. Hopefully everyone is doing ok.

Asking for best guess info
He's now receiving
palliative
care
and just had his first comprehensive bloodwork since the MO's on June 30. At that time his PSA registered at 6.92. Today's results are 40.28 and I've been compmaring his Aug. and Sept. Basic Metabolic Panels as well.

palliative care
My mum Frances is now having
palliative
care
for CBD. She is cognitive but very little swallow and so very little strength left to dress/walk etc. sadly no speech. Is there really nothing more than a highly calorics yoghurt available for her to eat? it’s so so sad watching this cruel disease .

Lost in France
I think he needs
palliative
care
but our doctor says he's not entitled. My question is: is there anyone in a similar position who lives in France and can they offer guidance? I'm a bit lost.

I don’t understand
care
how does anyone know when this needs to be spoken about , there are many other symptoms but too many to put here right now as it’s my first post, does it sound like my husband is progressing fast?

PSA suppression
My PSA lows tend to be around 3.3, and it occurs to me that some might think it odd that I don't drive it lower. I think it is very common for men on ADT to draw too much comfort from a significant PSA reduction, if not a near-zero PSA. I have witnessed men misinterpret a dramatic drop in PSA as

Palliative care
Mum's GP has recently suggested involving the
palliative
care
team for her heart failure. She was very upset and declined. It would be really useful to learn about other people's experiences of
palliative
care
so we can understand the potential benefits.

Liquid biopsy
Saw O on Monday and he talked about biopsy and also ‘ more sensibly’ about
palliative
care
. Surely in any treatment decision you have to know the type of cancer in order to select the right drugs??

Pluvicto works but at what cost
I’m on
palliative
care
and don’t really take pain meds since bone pain decreased but can’t get any sleep without benzodiazepines. Almost 10 years optimistically fighting this and maybe hospice care is the next best step.

Seeking advice re: end-of-life planning with family
I’m getting to the point where I’m going to need hospice support, but whenever I mention the idea of hospice or
palliative
care
, all of their suffering makes me feel guilty and we talk about something else.

Which Treatment
I was referred to
Palliative
care
by my pancreas specialist but was turned down due to all the flags in my medical records from so many ER visits in severe pain , but since they only know how to test& treat Acute Pancreatitis which tests were normal, so they didn't know why I was in pain even though
