Spinal Compression
His medical team has withdrawn all treatment other than
palliative
care
. I am still exploring the Veyonda therapy that I raised under the posting Lutetium -177 Failure. In recent days, he has started to have muscular twitches in both legs for some minutes. He tells me it is painful.

My PCP came to visit me,
Palliative
Care
came by Talk, my Psychiatrist called me to see how I was doing, and I was assured that once you are admitted they notify your entire team. Well, someone was missing from my list of visitors/callers: my oncologist.

Timelines/ palliative care
I think the
palliative
care
team take over as contact at the moment I’m not sure what to ask. My mum wants to make plans to do things but not sure because she doesn’t have a timeframe and will she be well enough? Any advice welcomed

Is my dad dying?
In short, I want a clear answer if he is going to recover again or if I should be preparing for end of life, but the doctors say short to nothing-the last thing they said is that “
palliative
care
is only called once they have exhausted all options”.

Electronic hoist & Hospice arrived the same day
We were just getting started with
Palliative
Care
and it was decided that we were better suited for Hospice. I had no idea we would qualify for Hospice this early (of course, who knows how early it really is). I am so thankful for this. The benefits are probably as good as you can get in the U.S.

Immunotherapy 2 year limit
After unsuccessful treatment with chemotherapy she was referred to
palliative
care
by her previous consultant. I went private to get a second opinion and found a great consultant who enrolled her on a early access to medicine scheme for immunotherapy (nivolumab) .

I have been going to slimming world for just over a year and had lost over 2 1/2 stone. However lately I have been struggling and put on a few lbs and I am also finding as I get older certain foods seem to upset me. I have decided to completely change the foods I eat, I have avoided sugars and rarely

Palliative care
After discussing with my husband, we figured that he was between stages 2 and 3, and one of the recommendations was to put the patient’s name in the
Palliative
care
Registry (which I didn’t know existed) So I asked my GP and we had the visit today from the specialist who came to our house for the evaluation

Not sure what to do
Anyways the department I got put in is for
palliative
care
and end of life, it seems to be stirring up my health anxiety even more, all day I’m surrounded by death and people dying and it stirs so much sadness for them and their families but also stirs fear so deep in me thinking it will be me one day

Shortly after I walked with a cane because of the pain, and at this time I went to
palliative
care
and my memory is hazy due to the pain medication but after a week or so of using a cane, I needed to use a wheelchair.

Hello everyone. I’ve decided to follow the LCHF diet as opposed to counting calories. Can anyone help me please, does it give you headaches and make you tired. I was very tired all day yesterday and have had headaches also.

He is now subject to
Palliative

Palliative Care
Has anyone experienced
palliative
care
. I think I need help with cognition, my extreme debilitating side-effects (musculoskeletal) if I/F combo (which is worse on week off Ibrance), maybe anxiety & insomnia & some social anxiety issues I’m having due to loss of cognition.

She is home...
We were able to keep my mother well-cared for and at home (she has lived back with me since my stepfather passed in 2014) with
palliative
and later in-home hospice
care
from Hospice of the Chesapeake.

Please help - crisis point. Recommendations palliative + mental health care
Recommendations
palliative
+ mental health
care
. Dad had his 2nd stroke which (along with a history of mental health issue) has meant that he's unable to control his emotions. Thankfully, now we have one-to-one care his frustrations are carried out on furniture and not people.
