Panic attack while driving on motorway
I had the most scary experience whilst driving on the motorway, out of nowhere I started to feel weird, I looked down at my hands on the steering wheel and it felt like I wasn't in control of them, my vision seemed blurry and I was shaking. I just had to pull over straight away and get out of the car

How to fight Panic attacks
So I just posted about what I go through when I start having my panic attacks and I have some tips that may be helpful to people who have attacks or anxiety. Get a box and fill it with something you can hear like a music box or maybe even like a phone with certain music that makes you feel good, something

Breathing Exercise to help your cravings.
Cravings lead to irritation and sometimes panic, causing the quitter’s mind to speed up. When this occurs, concentrating becomes hard. Using a deep breathing exercise is an effective way of calming yourself down. This exercise can be done anywhere from sitting down in a chair to waiting for a bus.

Rough Day Ahead
Hello all. I could use some positive vibes today. I suffer from generalized anxiety and panic attacks associated with driving. Today is the anniversary of my mother’s death, and I hate it. Today is the day when the wonderful memories of her her get replaced with the sadness of reliving her last days

Bad experience at ER and now extreme anxiety.
I don't even have the energy to type out a whole post lol but basically my psychiatrist messed up my meds, wouldn't get back to me on the phone and then I had a huge panic attack (intense dread, felt like i was in a different world, like i was going to pass out or have a seizure). At the ER I got scolded

Overcoming Anxiety
Hi, I am currently in the process of switching psychiatrists. I was treated for eight years with a doctor in Colorado Springs who just retired. I was taking Paxil, Geodon, and Ativan. When I started with my new practitioner, she immediately wanted me off Geodon and Ativan. After some doing, I was

Making a plan - Panic Disorder
I can’t stress enough that when you want to start recovery steps you have to make plan for it. It for one helps you see where your at and adds some structure to your life. Writing on paper what you want to do and where you want to be will help you feel like “okay I’m finally taking control back over

Another day, another feeling.
So today was a bit better. Posting here last night honestly helped a lot. It sure wasn’t the greatest day, but better than it’s been. It was a little hard to breath a few minutes ago, as I started thinking about things again, but after that things got better. I’m finally running again, so that should

Sleep
I know how important sleep is, but more often than not, I only sleep 2-3 hours. My Doc is reluctant to give me a prescription for Ambien. I already take Zoloft and Buspar. I have tried melatonin but it does not help. Does anyone have suggestions for an over the counter drug I can try?

Just before falling asleep the world collapses in on its self.
All day I'm aware of the problems I face, the mountains that stand before me that I must climb and I'm relatively ok. However right when I'm trying to get to sleep its as if all the negative thoughts, fear, and mistakes I had been suppressing come spilling out and my heart starts racing. It takes me

Diazepam or promethazine with sertraline
Can not remember whether I have asked before what people’s views of either taking diazepam or promethazine to help with anxiety whilst waiting for sertraline to level out
