Still heavy bleeding and
pain
like a cricket ball in my tummy. In past 9 months,
pain
in bowel,
pain
emptying bowel and bleeding. Checked for haemerrhoids/Colonoscopy but nothing inside the bowel. I have been on a waiting list for a Hysterectomy for 2 years. Had the surgery last week.

Joint pain classes
Our Nuffield Joint
Pain
class teacher is going to be doing 2 days a week at Barbican Nuffield. Aren't you Londoners lucky? Certainly helped me. No sticks needed now. Still can't get my arms much above horizontal doing Angels up against the wall though.

suspected endometriosis and mirena coil.
my
pain
was usually around my period and pms. However this has increased to daily
pain
. I’m on the list for a laparoscopy but the wait is another 6-9 months. I’m considering the mirena coil to help with the
pain
as it was recommended and my appointment. Will this affect me having the opp ?

Ibuprofen Gel
In the erlier days of my PMR I remember being advised not to take Ibuprofen as a
pain
relief. Does that apply to the Gel as I have had a trip in the garden and pulled a hamstring, ouch.

Adenomyosis - Bleeding on Decapeptyl
When I turned 40 things changed my bleeding and
pain
intensified to the point I was taking weeks off work, crying, anxious and very very low. I’d be screeching in
pain
for my husband to help me to take this
pain
away.

Hospital update and thanks.
As long as they are aware, they should let those with long standing chronic
pain
, control their own
pain
relief. It would help the patient and free up two nurses.

Lymphatic system/fluid retention
My fingers swell and get worse due to heat causing
pain
. I also get this all over my body and have bulging not pitting type odema at the top of my shins towards the inner side. The more I move the more this increases all over and causes
pain
including the bottom of my feet.

Feeling rubbish again at 2.5mg prednisone
The last one was a few weeks ago at 2.25mg when I realised my arm and shoulder
pain
and tiredness was a flare. I went up to 7.5mg for a week and then resumed at 2.5mg. My issue is that I’m now getting
pain
in my thighs and buttocks again.

Pain clinic
However, as things are getting progressively worse, my GP and specialist have suggested that this month when the
pain
reaches its peak and my meds don't work I should try going to A&E so I think I might actually take their advice.

pain
meds over the years - currently high-dose gabapentin + celecoxib, originally for the SIJ but the celecoxib is also supposed to be helping the bilateral
pain
but it isn't - he is in SO MUCH
pain
, I can't stress it enough.

thank you
Now after 5 days the
pain
is less, but not gone. Thanks for the tip about taking the Pred at 2:00. The
pain
starts at about 3:00 am and I almost can't wait until 6:00 am to take the Pred. I'm trying it tonight. I am grateful to have found this forum☺️ My English is ok?

Bit of a Vent
Like I normally have
pain
when I’m examined but it was so much worse this time. I also get
pain
during sex too. It’s just terrifying and I’m now scared I won’t be able to get pregnant because the
pain
is so intense and if surgery or treatment doesn’t fix it, I don’t know what will.
