Hashimoto and Thyroid Eye Disease
Hi, I developed symptoms in my left eye about two weeks ago. First thought it was hayfever related, but it's only in my left eye. It started feeling worse (itching, sensation of swollen eye, some swelling in the under eye area) so I went to go see an ophthalmologist. He diagnosed me with Thyroid Eye

Ibuprofen
Ive just realised my tinnitus gets worse after I've taken ibuprofen. Just googled this and seen that it can happen. Has anyone else noticed this and if so have you found a relatively strong painkiller that doesn't affect it

Which is the worst - Prednisolone or Methatrexate?
I’ve mentioned my position in reply to other’s posts, but briefly, Jan 2023 - having been convinced the MTX wasn’t making any difference, I asked to stop it but my Rheumy said no, but you can half your dose to 10mg (once a week). I was also on 1.5mg Pred with Rhuemy pushing me to reduce by .5 for

Help please is it possible in a month for the angle to change from narrow to wide open angles? This just doesn’t make sense to me.
Hello again, Well I am still in the system waiting for my next appointment on July 4th. My new consultant says I now have treated primary narrow angles, does that mean the laser has worked is this what opens the angles? My letter on 17th April stated the following: This was 6 Weeks after 2nd

Back pain/clicking and how to stay positive
Hi everyone Looking for tips on pain management/positivity and also to see if anyone experiences the same types of pain/clicking in joints. I've been suffering with back pain (as well as pelvis, abdomen, hips, neck etc) for around 2 years now, alongside a huge number of other symptoms as I'm sure

Magnesium salts and RLS: malate, glycinate or citrate
Just following up on a recent post recommending magnesium malate for RLS, quoting recommendations made by Californian company Pure Biogenics in promoting their RLS supplement Seratame. Looking into this, experiments on rats suggested that malate may be the most bio-available form of magnesium; there

You know those films where someone is strapped to a chair and the torturer is holding a syringe and says: 'I'm just going to give you something to enhance the pain; you'll feel everything much more'. No wait! I already have IBS, thanks all the same. I feel everything in my guts, multiplied. Solids
