eye problem

Hi all, any advice as it being Saturday. Yesterday, right eye got a swelling at the side of eyebrow, not painful just hurt to touch. By last night small lump which then became very itchy developed. Thought it may be a bite. Woke up this am. Small lump or spot still there, still itchy but eyelid all puffy and gunge in the corner.. looks like a conjunctivitis type thing. Any ideas on what I should be doing? I think I’m more worried because of GCA. This can’t effect it can it? 🙈🙏

Sounds like an insect bite but difficult to say. If I were you I’d pop in to my local pharmacy.

No I have another popped up on eyebrow I definitely think I’ve been bitten but it’s swollen the eyelid and given me funkiness in the inner corner of the eye. I’m just not sure as got grandson today. I will bathe it and see what happens later. 🙏

any chance it’s shingles brewing? Might be worth getting it checked because it’s near the eye. If it is a bite and has got infected (the gunge) get it checked because it’s near the eye.

You can get Shingles in the eye as well. Please get it checked. Is it painful?

it’s uncomfortable and itchy. The bumps are quite hard, not fluid. I have just read up on it and looked at photos. Maybe too early to say as yesterday just slightly raised but have come right up today. I will see how it goes today. There’s no pharmacist in chemist today. If I have to if it gets worse will go to walk in centre. Thank you. X
