Help to decide diagnosis
I am now n the Consuktants list for a CRT
pacemaker
although he says there is m guarantee that this may dramatically improve things although he says my heart rate is better controlled because f the medication which I resisted for quite a long time.

Electromagnetism and AF?
I have a
pacemaker
. Might that have been affected by radio waves? Might a natural
pacemaker
be affected similarly? Or could the whole incident be psychological brought on by fear? I am of course aware of possible interference to pacemakers by certain electrical circuitry.

Transplant eligibility with CHF and T2 diabetes
This might mean he needs a
pacemaker
. My question is for people who have/had a combo of heart/kidney/diabetes. And are older as my husband is 65. Any experience with transplant eligibility with these all together or does it look like dialysis is the only route?

Pericardium removed
I recently had a laser lead extraction operation because my right ventricle
pacemaker
lead (in place for 11 years) had moved. It had perforated my heart wall and could be seen on a scan “poking out of your heart” as the Cardiologist cheerfully told me on the phone.

CRT-D “Under the muscle”
Hi, I’m due to have a
pacemaker
under the muscle as I am apparently too skinny to have it in the usual place. Can anyone tell me how this affects recovery time? I’m a teacher at a secondary school and would like to know when I can go back to work.

Latest good news on COPD
Although my Spiro test, Which was done before my
pacemaker
op. Said FEVI 1 of 39%. Which is severe obstruction, Today i am not showing any signs to warrant that reading. But said thats what they have to take it as for medical record reasons. But told me i dont need my steroid inhaler Ellipta 92/22.

Some might find this interesting but I am probably beating a dead horse. At least is not not the normal post subject matter.
The cardiologist solution for this is a
pacemaker
which often fixes the symptom but not the cause. I laid on my Vertebra 2 and the program that I selected worked on the upper part of the back and on the neck. It amazingly focuses on the part of the back that needs attention.

Battery powered watches and pacemakers
Is this just a coincidence or is the
pacemaker
interfering with the batteries? I must say that neither of the watches appeared to interfere with the
pacemaker
and I feel perfectly okay. Anybody had similar experience?

Advice on Afib after Catheter Ablation
( 50mg Atenolol and .125 Digoxin and Xaralto) that would lower my heart rate when in Afib and the
pacemaker
would stop the pauses at conversion back to sinus rhythm.

Pacemaker firefighters?
After googling, treatment could mean a
pacemaker
fitted.. question is about returning to full operational duties. Also any stories (with happy endings!) gratefully received. Thanks, Dan.

Organs not functioning
They are planning to fit a
pacemaker
but if it is not successful then they have advised there is nothing more they can do for him. Im just after more of an explanation into what this all means/entails. Any information or experiences of this would really be appreciated Thankyou

Do i need a pacemaker? Diagnosed with bradycardia/arrhythmia.
My consultant has decided to put a
pacemaker
in to stop my HR dropping below 60bpm. If anything my HR seems to be higher than normal at the moment but with fairly constant 'wobbling'! My partner is concerned that i don't actually need a
pacemaker
and i'm just not sure what to do.

Going back to the gym
Hi everyone I had a
pacemaker
fitted in May 2018. I've now joined the gym and most of the cardio machines....treadmill etc have heart rate monitors incorporated into the handles. I'm presuming these are ok for pm users but not 100% sure. Any advice would be appreciated

MEDTRONIC Circuit Errors (Pacemakers)
I had a
pacemaker
checkup at the beginning of the year, and was informed the Medtronic ADVDD01
pacemaker
is experiencing problems with particular settings (And some other pacemakers also possibly). I unfortunately was using one (VDD) and have been moved to VVIR until an update is found.

2nd degree heart block, type 2 = pacemaker. 49 years old and no previous heart issues
I have been scheduled for a
pacemaker
, MRI compatible, implant this Wednesday, 26 September. At 49 I really feel that I'm in a surreal experience and that it's hard to believe that it's really happening to me.

Ablation update.
So I felt the best option was a
pacemaker
, with certain drugs (flecainide )to keep the high heart rate down & the
pacemaker
as a back up, Cardio/EP reckons it may help with the Ectopics too! I would rather have some quality of life rather than feel fatigued continuously!
