Hi everyone, just returned from a lovely holiday to Spain. Last year l also visited Spain and took a jumbo pack of Dettol wipes as it was my first flight post surgery/ AVR, sepsis. endocarditis, pacemaker. ect, as my health issues were all due to infections l was PARANOID. The arms, seatbelts, trays and even the in flight magazines were filthy. l did the same this year and it was filthy again so please clean the plane. l will share with you a funny fact about last years plane flight with my Husband, l am sat in my seat before take off and wiping every surface known to man, then l offered the man beside me a wipe but he replied he had already done the same. lt turns out he was a Consultant heart specialist with 12 other Consultants from every department in various hospitals sat in front of me, behind and to the side going on a golfing holiday. l could not believe my luck, you couldn't have ordered it could you!!! Take care, Sue.

I am always surprised by the old grubby magazines in waiting areas. Surely staff and patients could donate some new ones after reading rather than recycling.

Some of check-in screens covered in finger prints are off-putting!

I'm sure this won't help you feel any better but you should see what the wipes remove when I use the train (and buses). Don't get me started on trolley grips, push/pull doors, handrails, public convenience...

What fabulous luck to be surrounded by consultants on the plane!

Hi, the worse germs are evidently found on coins but it would be a lifelong task to clean them all!!! The added bonus of my Consultant entourage was they were all extremely handsome, l felt l was surrounded by bodyguards, happy days. Sue.

Notes are as germ-ridden as coins, turns my stomach to see someone holding one in their teeth to free up hands.

Love the thought of being surrounded by a planeload of handsome consultants - proves the journey is as good as the destination:)
