Is this normal
Pacemaker
fitted 6 years ago, always had slight niggles around collar bone and chest but doctor says it's a small price to pay compared to what I was like. I'm having a heavy, dull feeling in my left breast and shoulder in my left arm and sometimes my neck.

Not Flutter After All
Since I have a
pacemaker
for bradycardia, she was able to determine that I now have complete heart block. For now, they are treating me with increased flecainide and metoprolol and I have an appointment with my EP in a month.

Ready for a Medical Emergency?
I reminded her that Bob had a
pacemaker
, named his cardio because he was the one I'd rec'd to them a few yrs ago and which hospital Bob had put his brother in. The EMS team were great; it took 4 of them to lift Bob onto a guerney while a 5th one and I tried to get info from Judy.

Hi All Has anyone out there had pace and ablate, but now all the time when I walk uphill I get this pain in my chest. Sometimes it seems to go up into my jaw and my teeth! I am absolutely fine walking on the flat but we live in a hilly town! Observations from others would be helpful. Thanks, have

100 hour fast
Apparently, they can be caused by low blood pressure (hypotension)... which I get every day (I hope they will turn up my
pacemaker
a bit at my appointment next month). I wonder if low ketones or low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia) could contribute?

In hospital now - questions for consultant.
I’m worried about the impact of
pacemaker
in short and long term (which the consultant suggested may well be needed depending upon MRI results). What sort of questions should I be asking? Are there alternatives?
