I was diagnosed with a left blocked bundle branch several years ago, but with no treatment required. I am now in my middle 60s and wonder whether anyone has the same condition and whether I should check with a doctor that I'm still ok.
My father died at 78 with a heart condition, my mum had a heart attack in her 60s, but survised and my brother, after having a heart murmur since a child, now has a pacemaker and defibrillator fitted.
I have been having far more lightheaded events and wonder whether this might have something to do with my heart.
Any comments of assistance would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, getting an appointment with a GP at present is impossible.

Firstly, I cant answer you questions, I'm afraid, as I have no knowledge of your condition.
What I would say is definately talk to your GP If you are having more symptoms. I find that telling the receptionist it's a diagnosed heart condition I wish to discuss, gets a much quicker appointment.
Or you can ask the same questions to the British Heart Foundation Nurses through their website.
Hi Gazeebo. I would suggest speaking to your GP especially if you are experiencing light headedness. Due to current covid restrictions it will probably be a call back first, if your doctor feels it needs investigating then hopefully they will arrange an ECG for you.
As the others have said, it would be a good idea to see your GP if you are worried. Generally, if you aren't experiencing any symptoms, a left bundle branch block doesn't need any treatment, but if you are feeling light headed or short of breath, or if you can feel your heart missing beats, you should get an ECG, just to be on the safe side.
