Heart rate over 130 causing me to feel unwell
I feel ok until my heart goes over 130 then I start to feel very strong palpitations, dizziness and get so out of breath which are the symptoms I was having before having my
pacemaker
. That’s happened twice now . I’m on 5mg bisoprolol which helped to keep my heart below 130 for a while .

Relaxing at pool after ablation ok?
I have a
pacemaker
as well. I booked a nice resort to relax that for a couple of days. Having a heated discussion with my wife she said I shouldn’t sit by the pool in the heat afternoon Ablation two days later. I told her I would sit in the shade. It’ll probably be in the 90s.

Taking Bisoprolol in between pacemaker and AV node ablation
The consultant felt that as I had the
pacemaker
fitted there may be an improvement. Has anyone else taken these tablets in between having a
pacemaker
fitted and then the AV node ablation? I am feeling very depressed with the whole thing. Thanks in advance for your help. Gloria

The Ablate part of the Pace and ablate procedure
Therefore symptom relief may not be as good as might be expected with restoration of the normal heart rhythm. " I've had my
pacemaker
fitted and awaiting the AV node ablation. I read this today and nobody else has mentioned this at all.

ASKING FOR A REPEAT ECG FOR POSSIBLE PACEMAKER
The recommendation of having a
pacemaker
fitted was made. Six months on I am concerned that the recommendation for a
pacemaker
should not be the case. I have had no symptoms of dizziness or other issues related to bradycardia.

Seeking pearls of wisdom.
I was fitted with a CRT-D
pacemaker
last fall. My Cardiologist is suggesting an AV Node ablation. Which isn't reversible and leaving me
pacemaker
dependent the rest of my life. So, before I pull the trigger on that idea I really need to get it right.

Very surprised
The upshot of it all is that he has a complete heart block and is now in hospital waiting for a
Pacemaker
. They are monitoring him very closely and with a drip keeping his heart rate between 35/40.

Pace maker newbee and FREAKING out
Had a
pacemaker
in April 30. when to ep for check up. He said some numbers I don't understand, maybe someone can help. The top lead number is 8 (which is good) but the lead going to the bottom of heart is 2.

Kardia with AF and a pacemaker
I don't post very often, but I learn a lot from reading everyone's posts and replies I'm thinking about getting a Kardia and I was just wondering if anyone has one that has AF and also a
Pacemaker
? Apparently I'm in AF around 20% of the time (according to data from PM).

Pace and ablate
I've had my
pacemaker
inserted on Monday 9th May. Xray, ECG and pacing checks were perfect on discharge. I'm getting odd ectopics but was told my ventricles are just a bit jumpy after being poked and prodded and not to worry so I'm ok about that. However they say to expect discomfort.

Internal Tremors - a question
As many of you know, I have had a somewhat chequered journey with my AF and treatments but currently am happy with my status quo ie:
Pacemaker
which seems to help control AF and certainly lessens episodes, unless I have an infection.

ICD - What does it feel like when it activates?
Hi, my wife has recently had
pacemaker
/icd fitted. She is very anxious about what she will experience when the ICD triggers and shocks. Does anyone have any experience of how it feels, i.e is it painful etc? Thanks in advance

Pacemaker
My husband is nearly 66 and has to have
pacemaker
fitted in 2 weeks which came as a shock. He is in permanent af after having 2 cardioversions which worked for one year each. Dr didnt suggest another one. He also has an Artificial heart valve too put in 2005.
