Seeking pearls of wisdom.

Greeting everyone. FYI, I'm a rooky to this site.

I have had permanent AF for years now and am living with it. All the medications have been tried and haven't resolve my discomfort.

I also have Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy which complicates issues.

I was fitted with a CRT-D pacemaker last fall. My Cardiologist is suggesting an AV Node ablation. Which isn't reversible and leaving me pacemaker dependent the rest of my life. So, before I pull the trigger on that idea I really need to get it right.

Has anyone out there had than AV Node ablation and what can I expect after??

Kindest Regards
