Silicone bubble returns
The silicone bubble in my eye, which I received a few years ago from an Avastin injection, had been gone for many months - floated out of view. The other day I was working on something, from a standing position looking down at it, when the bubble floated back into my field of vision. I persuaded my

If my wet MD eye "fails," can someone tell me what to expect? How about the effects on my other eye, if any?
My wonderful opthamologist, who has been injecting Avastin for about 18 months in my wet MD eye, told me during a recent visit that "You've really beaten the odds, Mary. Most people fail within the first 4-8 months." When I got home, I thought about the word "fail," which has an ominous sound. I googled

Lots of black & circular floaters + bloodshot eye after my last Avastin injection. Should I worry?
I have been having regular Avastin shots for 18 months, with no progression of the wet MD. I've had floaters before, but not this many so frequently. I've also had large black circular floaters (from the glycerin used in the packing, from what I've read) which eventually disappeared. Now my floaters

Hi All, I hope you are all well but i know some people are going through very tough times and I really feel for you as I’ve been there myself and it’s pure torture trying to cope with this disease. I’m just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience to me and if they recurred how long did it

1 year in remission (LGOC)
An awesome update, I had a CT at Christie’s a week last Saturday and it’s still all clear. So phew I’m now a year in remission. I will now just have a blood test in 3 months, my last CA125 was 5 but I should point out that it was only 37 at diagnosis and it was rife, including spots on my colon and a

Any tips for stiff, aching limbs on Avastin?
I am on Avastin only, at present, and have developed aching legs and arms that are very stiff - walking like a robot when I get up in the morning or have been sitting down. Have you had this and have you found anything that helps?

Peritoneal cancer wanting second opinion
Hello I haven’t posted before but would be grateful for your advice. In sept 2019 I was diagnosed with FIGO stage 111C/IV high grade serous carcinoma of Fallopian tube origin. I had a laparoscopy which showed widespread small volume peritoneal disease. I commenced chemo for 6 sessions with Avastin

Avastin for Pleural Effusion
Anyone here get Avastin for a pleural effusion and if so, side effects? My Dr said most people do very well with it but I'm pretty scared.
