Avastin for Pleural Effusion

Anyone here get Avastin for a pleural effusion and if so, side effects? My Dr said most people do very well with it but I'm pretty scared.

Hi, Stage4gir - I'm not familiar with this treatment, but googled it, and it does sound promising. I very much hope that it works well for you...And I do hope someone else with experience replies. It's just so encouraging to see all the treatments that can help us..

This makes me feel sooo much better! You’ve helped tremendously in making my decision. My fear has been that the side effects would be a trade off for more time and wondering if it was worth it. The effusion does effect my life so much too though so I was struggling with what to do and hearing from someone with your experience helps. Thank you for the reply

bc mets to the right pleura and pleural effusion July 2015. had VATS bronchoscopy for pleural effusion and lung biopsy. no Avastin. treatment is Ibrance, Anastrozole, and Lupron injection.
