I had Avastin in 2018 i had 18 sessions and there is no hair loss and i didnt really have any side effects except it put my blood pressure up a bit. Very tolerable though. Good luck and sending big hugs x

Hi Supermary. I had Avastin 3-weekly infusion for 5.5 years. No hair loss at all. As Koza above says, it caused my BP to rise gradually over time. It also gave me a runny nose. But that's all. Best wishes. Pauline.

PS. Caelyx will cause about 10% hair loss over 6 months of infusions.

Hi I trialled Avastin in 2007/8 and no it didnt cause hairloss. Upped my BP a bit, made my joints ache a bit and gave me a 'snotty' nost but was totally tolerable. x

Hi Supermary, I had my chemo with Avastin now I'm on Avastin only and my hair is growing back. Sue xx

I received 22 cycles of Avastin with no hair loss. I did however have high blood pressure, but was given medication to sort this out x
