I hope you are all well but i know some people are going through very tough times and I really feel for you as I’ve been there myself and it’s pure torture trying to cope with this disease. I’m just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience to me and if they recurred how long did it take to show on a scan . I’m currently on avastin for maintenance after surgery, hipec and chemo for first recurrence( diagnosed on a ct scan) back in September 2018 . I’m doing well but my CA125 is on the move. It’s now 6, the last few 3 weekly readings were 4,4. 3 and before that it was 3 since April 2019. I had a scan this week which was stable , but i’m just wondering how long do i have before I can expect to see it on the scan. I recurred previously with a CA125 of 18. i know my readings are low but I don’t think that means a lot in my case, unfortunately.
kind regards, D

Aloha Dollie! Consider adding the HE4 test with your CA125. For me, the HE4 test showed progression of disease sooner than the CA125. I was able to detect quicker with the HE4 so after gaining confidence with the HE4, I dropped the CA125 test. Initially, I was getting both but now just HE4. Take care!
