High Gleason, Low PSA
Just starting on this journey. Had TURP surgery in October for what was thought to be BPH, since PSA was only 1.0. Biopsy from TURP: Prostatic adenocarcinoma, Gleason score 4+5=9 (Grade Group 5), involving approximately 90% of submitted tissue. Focal mucinous features. Perineural invasion identified

B12 absorption post gallbladder surgery
I know certain gastrointestinal surgeries can lead to an absorption issue with B12. Has anyone had this happen from “just” gallbladder surgery?

Constipation vs obstipation?
I'm still not clear on the difference. In my case PD causes difficulty evacuating the bowels. Without treatment what ultimately comes out is...massive. Forcing it out there's constant fear of something tearing inside. Using colace the stools were less frightening meaning they were smaller

Contrast fluid/dye
My father is doing a bone scintigraphy and CT-scan for thorax and abdomen. His prostate was removed in 2017. Is there anything to think about in regard to contrast fluid/dye (what is the correct English term)? My father mentioned that one kind could be harmfull when the prostate is removed. Perhaps gallium

I don't have an

. The dr says it's to do with the sphincter. I have been prescribed Tamsulosin now and to stop the mira begron. Just wondering if anyone has been told the same thing and if the medication helped them? Thanks

2 years post Taxotere and ADT, PSA increased from .3 to .4 to .8 over the course of six months. Next best step?
Hi Everyone, My Dad was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer at age 72. His PSA was 9,800 (very high). He had an issue with something pushing on his bladder. Lymph nodes were involved, but no bones or organs. He chose to do 6 rounds of Taxotere with ADT. The result was tremendous! His PSA went
