Overactive bladder

Have recently had prostate surgery and on follow up with surgeon,been told I have Overactive Bladder (OAB)and been prescribed Tolterodine.Checked on HealthUnlocked Bladder site but they only discuss whether it works for bladder problem.Will it have any affect on my RLS?

I've had am overactive bladder for years think it's genetic but last 12 months more than usual ended up with a uti as my electrolytes were very low prob cos I'm peeing so often not bad in the day.

Has anyone used in indwelling catheter for an overactive bladder

has anyone used this for overactive bladder? i presently selfcath and have to get up 5 times a night to do that and am looking for alternatives.

Hey all, I have visited my gyno today and was diagnosed with bladder prolapse and OAB. I've read some information as to what causes them. Gyno said that hypothyroidism impacts muscles and ligaments in the pelvis too and low estrogen could cause issues too. Anybody here who knows that prolapse and OAB

Are there any meds for overactive bladder problems that are safe for kidney patients? Any information would be appreciated

My overactive bladder is getting worse. I'm 73. At times I can wait 2 hours to pee but often it's only an hour. Trying to train myself to wait as the GP suggests results in leaks especially when I actually get to the loo.

Not crazy abt it, but it's kind of nice choosing when to go and not wetting myself as I formerly did w/ my overactive bladder. Thanks for all your well wishes and concern. It's. Meant a lot.

how good is mirabegron with overactive bladder

My urologist's assistant recently prescribed vibegron for my overactive bladder. I was getting up at least 6 times a night. Well, it has been a great success after the first day through day seven I am down to one trip a night. However, I seem to be peeing at least twice as much all day long.

She did say some people's kidneys do just excrete microscopic blood particles as their normal, but that I possibly have overactive bladder as I need to drink much more fluid (water). I have duly taken note and really hope this is the end of it.

I’ve been recommended pumpkin seed oil for help with my overactive bladder, has anyone used it, and did it affect blood counts? Thank you in advance 😁

Hi there,I have had oab since 2007 and the Miribegron isnt working ive just had 2 bladder infections and i have an indwelling catheter also. I am making lots of urine at night sometimes 3 bags its too much urine to make for anyone. Anyone else like this its awfull. Sparklebright62

I've been diagnosed with Paroxysmal Tachycardia and am trying Tolterodine for my OAB (which increased my comfort level considerably) but have had to stop as my monthly

Also I also have the same as my daugher with the overactive bladder and kidney issues. I feel we don’t have many people we can speak to or even relate to and share stuff with as no one we know has these issues. My daugher is 15 and she has accidents due to urge/stress incontienance.

I have issues with overactive bladder, but recently been getting up to pee every hour every night. Is there a link? Do I need to see GP, I take a couple of meds for bladder already. (66 male - generally ok - but calcium score is 2581 and have stable mild angina)

Always had overactive bladder before cancer. Urologist did cystoscope and said everything looked normal. Its been > 2 weeks and I am in constant misery. Bladder hurts and have strong feeling of needing to urinate. Tried vesicare, myrbetriq, pyridium, and levsin.
