Developments in the Continued Search for a Prostate Cancer Vaccine...
Greetings FPC members, As some of you know, I believe that the development of a vaccine or vaccines is crucial to developing a cure for PCa and certainly for achieving longer remissions. Is laparoscopy worth it if I'm not in severe pain? (Severe endo)
2 years ago now I started getting mild pains and UTI symptoms. After multiple dipstick tests (that showed no UTI) I was referred to gynae, then an ultrasound (2 cysts and adhesions), then an MRI (severe endo all over the bowel, ovaries and bladder). I've been put on Triptorelin shots to prepare for the

Starting High School
My son is now 11 and has suffered from bladder problems since he was a baby. He has an over active bladder and a small bladder capacity (about 90ml). The specialist has ruled out constipation and has put him on Tolterodine, which I suppose is helping a little, but he still has frequent accidents.

Stem cell therapy as a single agent or in combination with standard therapies.
I read somewhere about why tumors grow back after radiation or chemotherapy and a simplified explanation was that it was all about the damaged healthy tissue surrounding any of the leftover cancerous cells and if this tissue is made up of young cells or mature cells. The cancerous cells do not like

Total-body dynamic PET successfully detects metastatic cancer; first patient results.
Results from the first study using uEXPLORER to conduct total-body dynamic positron emission tomography (PET) scans in cancer patients show that it can be used to generate high-quality images of metastatic cancer. The research was presented at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging 2020

Recurring bladder infections
Hello, I've been having bladder infections for years now, and for the first time, ive taken anti-biotics without them taking any effect or helping my 'infection' what so ever. I have had a weird veiny, slightly bothering, rash on my upper left thigh, and i needed to ask is this linked to any kidney

Recommendation for my dad's prostate cancer treatment
My dad is 80 years old with a cardiac history. He is taking medications for hypertension, diabetes and neurological disorders. During the TURP done recently he was diagnosed with tumour in the prostrate. Pathology indicated a Gleason score of 9. The pet scan has not shown any metastasis. Uro-oncologist

Epidural Lipomatosis
Good morning Warriors! Looking for stories and feedback/treatment for any other men on this board who have developed epidural lipomatosis due to steroid use on the thoracic spine? In doing a scan, a tumor was found at T6 and my dad is scheduled to have both removed on Friday. The surgeon is very optimistic
