Reducing Tirosint Dose One Day/Week - Feeling Bad
Hi, I've been on 88mcg of Tirosint for a year and felt better than I have in years. My recent labs were: TSH - .029 (range .4 - 4.5) Free T4 - 1.34 (range .8 - 1.80) My endocrinologist wants to lower my dose from 88 mcg of Tirosint to 75 mcg/day. I was resistant since I finally feel good, so he

Latest PSMA PET Scan Results - What to do next?
Below is the report on my PSMA PET 2 days ago. Wondering what I can do next. Was thinking of radiation of remaining 3 mets and possibly the prostate again (finished 20 rounds on 5/4/22). Suggestions? Thank you. TUMOR (known or suspected): Mild prostatomegaly which mildly impresses upon the posterior

TRUS vs Transperineal Prostate biopsy
I have opted for the TP prostate biopsy over the TRUS biopsy. I could not find a Urologist in the Dallas/Fort Worth that does the TP biopsy. I did find a Dr. in Oklahoma city that does the TP biopsy. So I cancelled my TRUS biopsy in Fort Worth and Dr. Kelly Stratton with the Stephenson Cancer Center

Metastatic Disease Has Finally Arrived
Well folks, I wanted to update my progress, trying to get approved for PSMA PET scan and had to get a CT before that. It showed enhancement on two pelvic lymph nodes and that will get me qualified for some additional treatments. Still trying to get PSMA PET approved. My oncologist is starting me on

Hormone Therapies
When I couldn't pass urine anymore due to enlarged prostate, I was given Duodart by my Urologist and told that I will be taking it rest of my life. It caused severe blood clot (DVT) and both at the ER and a cardiologist I consulted, I was told that it is very high risk condition, because if a

Treatment options for local PC that is resistant to radiation
I received radiation treatment to my pelvic area this past spring for castrate-resistant lesions in my prostate and two lymph nodes. A month after completing radiation, my PSA dropped from .22 to .09, but a CT scan showed only a small decrease in size of the lesions. Six weeks later, my PSA increased

What pox do you choose?
I choose the monkeypox, with which we will get to know very briefly for general culture. I ask people who don't like to read about diseases to refrain or read at their own risk. The idea is only one - knowledge is power! Monkeypox and blood cancer - read more here: https://bloodcancer.org.uk/news

Desogestrel & symptoms
Hi everyone, I was wondering what were people's experiences with desogestrel? I am not diagnosed yet as my MRI came back as 'normal' which is very frustrating as I am stuck now. I started desogestrel around a month and a half ago and have been bleeding most of the time, the pain is less frequent but
