Duration of ADT
I need to make a decision about the duration of ADT. I had a prostatectomy in 2017. The pathology was great - everything suggested the disease was confined to the prostate. My PSA never went to zero. It has increased very slowly since then. I refused to have radiation until we has something to shoot

Socioeconomic influence on treatment with liothyronine and desiccated thyroid extract in Denmark
An interesting paper in that it looks at thyroid treatment from a very different point of view. Although based in Denmark, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the same general direction if repeated in many other countries. [i]

Active surveillance or not for localisedprostate cancer
Glesson 3+4, dre normal, psa 4.2, no symptoms, grade T2 Value now time quality of life and could go for the surveillance, treatment would be radiotherapy and possible hormone therapy with side effects not to be laughed at. Anyone else on active surveillance?

My son is 12 and has always had trouble with wetting himself. He took ages to be consistently dry during the day but never had any trouble with that now. I think he just didn’t want to take time out of his day to go to the toilet! Grew out of daytime wetting by the time he was about 8. He often wets

What bowel/bladder symptoms do you have?
Hello! I am just wondering what bladder and bowel issued and symptoms your endo causes? I am still waiting for a diagnostic lap but I didn’t really mention bowel/bladder issues I had to the gynaecologist as I was worried they’d think it be something else. I currently get: Painful wind Stomach

Frightened of results of ct scan
Had cancer new I could fight that off but it feels like I have no energy left if my results are positive from my radiotherapy treatment. Can anyone give me any advise on how to get over this?

Improved Prostate Cancer Detection Using HP 13C MRI - Coming to a treatment center near you?
As the complexity of the genetic/epigenetic nature of cancer has become evident, significant research focus has once again returned to cancer metabolism. Tailbone pain
Hi everyone, after a blood test, stool and urine test, and a full abdominal, pelvic and bladder scan I was told I had IBS. Still navigating my IBS diagnosing which is typically IBS-C just lately I have had more IBS-D symptoms with some nausea and pain in my tailbone. I’m reading about colon and rectal

Abdominal pain- related to the cancer or not?
My husband has been complaining of pain deep inside the abdomen to the left of his belly button for the past few weeks. It is fairly persistent, is usually dull but nagging. We thought it was linked to digestion but the digestion meds given to him are not making any difference to it. I am wondering

PSMA PET SCAN
My husband got back the results of his PSMA PET scan & we don't see the doctor for a few weeks. There's so many things I don't understand. He's had prostatectomy in 2019, 35 treatments of radiation & 6 mos. of Eliguard. His PSA has been undetectable for 1-1/2 years until March. It's risen slightly since
