I was diagnosed Jan 2017. Though my symptoms go back to my late teens early 20’s. I had an emergency gallbladder removal and spent 5 days in the hospital at 25 (2002) for a mystery liver infection. Gallbladder was just swollen no stones. The blessing came because the several weeks of antibiotics I was on while also on the depo-shot weakened the birth control and I ended up pregnant. ❤️
My other symptoms I assumed were Hoshimoto’s which I’ve had since 16years old. The Urso helped tremendously and my doctor was even shocked at how quickly it brought down my LFTs. The itching is nearly gone, the brain fog is much better, the liver pain is totally gone, the achiness comes and goes but the bouts of tiredness can be overwhelming. Also, I’ve actually gained weight 😩😩😩 I see people have lost as a result but I’ve done the opposite. Ugh. I just have so many hopes and desires to get up, get moving, get healthy. By the time I’ve worked an 8 hour day I am completely exhausted. I lay down to sleep... and can’t. I know I just need to push myself harder and that once I get healthier I’ll feel better. Just wondering if any of you have struggled with similar and how you’ve copied or improved?

Hiya, please don't worry about putting on weight. Since I was diagnosed many years ago I have put on 2 stone. I have tried everything to lose weight but it never worked. Now I am happy with how I am. Urso helped to take down my numbers quite quickly, but again don't get hung up on them because as I have discovered they go up and down like a yoyo. Do what I do if you can, listen to your body if it says today I feel really tired and feel ill then try and rest. I used to try and push myself and ended up just making myself ill. The fatigue and body pains were the worst for me but thankfully the pains have lessened over the years and I barely need pain killers. To date there is unfortunately nothing they can give you for the fatigue. I ended up giving up my job of 20 years in the end and it was the best thing I did. I even sleep better at night. Good luck.
